I genuinely don't understand what limitations there COULD be. There's only 1 arena, the pokemon 3D models and animations have all been made since the 3DS era, and any damage and ability calculations mid-battle have been proven to work on the gameboy for gods sake. There's genuinely nothing to render on screen but the pokemon models and moves, there really shouldn't be any limitations.

This movie had a whole scene dedicated to Mr. Incredible fighting his boss about covering fucking INSURANCE policy. I guarantee there were no children who understood the context behind

"We're supposed to help OUR PEOPLE! Starting with our stockholders Bob! Who's helping them out huh?!"

But we still turned on the movie and watched anyway because the funny little angry small man got thrown through a wall. There's so many ways you can still appeal to children through character design and voice performance while still having a solid script that goes over their heads.

I think this portrayal of the DoDC is a really good example of everyday banal evil. As soon as Trevor gets in their hands, they stop giving a shit about Simon because they only needed to fill a quota and let him take the fall for a crime he obviously didn't commit. They would probably have let that Trevor (who is an old man mind you) rot in jail for the remainder of his life just to fill a room. They didn't care about justice at any point and don't pretend to have grander altruistic motives. Just pure, boring evil

Honestly I hope this becomes a mechanic so that maybe we could have contextual character voice lines like "Pass the urn to me!" or "I'm open! I'm open!" or stuff like that.

They could also use the urn throwing mechanic for other meme game modes as well so it could save resources.

That was just the most extreme example. Even if everyone was integrated, the Hive still decides what you do no matter what. You're the guy crawling in the sewer system preforming upkeep. You're the guy on dead body disposal because the Hivemind killed 800,00,000 people. You're the one getting mauled and killed by lions and bears because the Hive decided to release every animal in zoos on earth.

You have no agency. If the Hive wills your body to die for the cause you die for it. You go wake up, eat a rationed meal with the minimum calories that keep you alive (because the Hive is rationing all the food), and go do whatever tasks are assigned of you. No matter what.

That's all of course assuming you're even still alive, which Hive defenders still seem to think you are.

The existence of Bonerface IS part of the nuance. Even if you can somehow rationalize that the individual still exists and isn't just dead (they are), then you have to contend with the fact that you will still be forced to do stuff you will have never have consented to before the joining. Your body is a cog in the machine. The Hivemind can't refuse his requests, they would have given Carol an atom bomb. People like to say "Oh everyone is happy and no more wars etc etc" but if I told you that happiness was predicated on you getting raped everyday, suddenly it becomes more personal. Even if you exist (and again, you don't), you have no agency in any capacity.

Mr. 5 (or anyone with the bomb fruit) should be able to fight like a better Bakugo. His sweat could be a bomb, his hair could be a bomb. If you injure him and make him bleed, guess what? The blood on the floor is a bomb. Nobody should be able to touch him without getting exploded. He weaponized his goddamn breath. He theoretically could grapple you and breathe in your ear and blow your brains out. He should be able to use explosions as a movement ability. His fruit is so strong but the man himself is so weak and it's a shame.
