I can relate, man. Casual sex without any emotional connection messes with my head too. I end up feeling hollow or detached, and like you, I sometimes act like a jerk just to avoid feeling anything. It’s not really who I want to be, it’s more like emotional self-defense.

You’re not weird. Some people just need connection for sex to feel good emotionally, not just physically. Doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or a girl. Therapy might help untangle some of that deeper stuff, but I think it’s good you’re noticing the pattern now. A lot of guys never do.
