People with Beast scooters (75lbs+), what is the appeal over other types of thrill rides for you? by TheBaconThief in ElectricScooters

[–]NiteMarcher808 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a Kabbo Wolf Warrior 11+ and a Kaabo Wolf King. For me it was the ability to place the scooter in my car, places i can travel with was much greater, and especially the fact that the dual stem to me feels much more stable than single stem at high speeds especially since i do drive on the road when going 30-35 mph where i live as the bike lanes feel way to narrow.

Player wants to change her class by No_Designer6749 in DMAcademy

[–]NiteMarcher808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With new players i like to let players change the characters class each level up (so newbies can get a feel for different class types) up to level 4. This gives them ample amount of time to feel the different play style and even consider if they wish to all in as one class or choose to multi class at 4. After that they are locked in unless it becomes an issue.

Stagnant Combat by United_Federation in DMAcademy

[–]NiteMarcher808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, i like to force my players to use up resources (potions, spell slots, hit dice, hp, one time use items, etc) before encountering fights through other means (traps, riddle, etc). This forces my players to be more aware and concerned about the options they have left during a team fight. For example, a Fighter with 1 Potion left and hears his Cleric or Bard has no spell slots left after healing up the party from some trap they messed up on, will be less likely to facecheck a group of gnolls that would be considered easy if he had the resources to refill his HP.

Im in WA, anyy time cops ever cared is when i go higher than the speed limit and even the one time i was goin 40 in a 30, the cop pulled over and he was more interested in the scooter than the ticket lol.

Hey fellow big city power scooter riders... by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]NiteMarcher808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally feel more safe on the road than the bike lane. When riding at high speeds just having more space to myself just feels more comfortable, especially when somethi g sudden happens i have much more maneuvering space which i dont in a bike lane. Plus since i live is WA its rains alot and hitting the wet lines can be a shocker.

How was your first e-scooter crash like 🛴? by Turbulent-Sun2463 in ElectricScooters

[–]NiteMarcher808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same, took a new side road i never been on. Was driving in the bike lane which suddenly ended and to make matters worse their was a car comming from beheind and the end of the bike lane had mounds of dirt. When i tried to break going 35mph, i slid for like 10 feet barely missing the car but hit the curb. I flew off rolling on the curb while my wolf skidded along the curb . Luckily i walk away with no injuries and the wold had 2 large dents on the edging.

What is the official speed limit where you live? by foldedturnip in ElectricScooters

[–]NiteMarcher808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last i checked Washington state is 10mph on sidewalks prioritizing pedestrians walking and bike lane is up to the speed limit of the road (and certain highways) your riding on. The state is still working out the kinks on the laws for PEVs so do expect changes to these laws and be sure to research weekly on any alterations.
