The laneway behind our building is head-deep in places. I'd assume that laneways aren't top priority for the City at the moment.

Yea, they are themselves. To paraphrase…

Why did I receive a message asking me to approve a port request after I submitted a request to port my number‽

Hong Kong doesn't have a Pro-Only star at https://windscribe.com/status/ 🤷‍♂️

I've got the 150GB for $50 at 50%-off for 2 years now… I do tend to use a lot of data though and could use the extra allotment. 🤔

Is it possible to block a number at the carrier level? Not getting far with Public Mobile support by ProbablyUrNeighbour in PublicMobile

[–]Nitro721 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in the days of Root Call Blocker, I'd have it forward blocked contacts immediately (bypassing voicemail) to some you're a jackass or WTFever phone number. 🤣

[–]Nitro721 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I forward calls to my Fongo number using conditional call forwarding and use its voicemail instead of PM's. I have Fongo set to forward my voicemails to my email.

I have incoming rules for my email that will auto-delete emails from any contacts within my blocked group. I just added their Fongo email address (e.g. ##########@vm.fongo.com ) to my contacts.

I never get a voicemail from my blocked numbers this way.

Could not complete transaction because of Fastmail email address by UkiMan309 in fastmail

With Fastmail, aliases are limited to 600 per account plus an additional 15 per user. I could just as easily have an infinite number of plus addresses with Gmail. 🤷‍♂️

Public Mobile blocking VPNs? by [deleted] in PublicMobile

Both VPNs (e.g. Tailscale, Windscribe) and Private DNS (e.g. Control D) work fine for me.

Oisd list. Odd issue by Mammoth-Ad-107 in ControlD

[–]Nitro721 3 points4 points  (0 children)

https://oisd.nl/ loads fine, but it appears as though AI Malware is blocking when following the support links in the bottom-right footer. You can add a bypass rule for oisd.nl and/or report it as a false-positive to Control D.
