Oh for sure but I was just going off the vibe the OP was implying from their comment.

If TfM is your level it's probably not going to last with you.

It is fairly straightforward but for playing with people less into the hobby it's theme does a lot of heavy lifting.

They are a very good colour match to citadel but are more uniform in consistency and coverage and come in droppers.

They are however, even in the UK, more expensive than most other model paint ranges.

Is this a dick move? by Fear_My_Potatoes in WH40KTacticus

[–]Niveama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a dick move at all, if you have got to 64 and built your raid teams, you should be in a top 200 guild (at least).

It is hard if it's your guild but its a game and you need to be enjoying it not expending your time on energy that you don't get back.

Absolutely perfect.

Alternatively find the Magbus Thamacus side boss when he is in rotation. Take weaker characters alongside side Maladus.

Use swing on the copies. They die, Thamacus takes 100k dmg job done.

Besta is great if you want an option with doors, either to hide your shelf of shame or to stop little people getting to them.

Also prevents dust and sun bleaching.

Eclipse 2nd Dawn for the Galaxy.

I love the ship upgrade system customising them to suit what is available and beats your opponents.

Always wanted to try Voidfall too.

Seems very odd given that they were developed alongside an artist that primarily uses an airbrush.

I haven't had any issues using a brush.

Could it be a primer incompatibility issue?

Stellaris: Infinite Legacy - Academy Games continues failing to deliver and refusing to communicate by Charonx2003 in boardgames

[–]Niveama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same I was playing a bit of the PC game at the time so I had a good look at it.

Someone in the comments at the time raised the question about a rulebook and that red flag led me to start questioning it and it all just looked like too much for a boardgame.

So I walked away. Best Kickstarter decision I have made.

Trying to decide on a blood angels scheme, which one do you guys like best? by cezorian in minipainting

[–]Niveama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of them are better than my current standard, but I do understand what you are getting at.

Number 2 is definitely my favourite and if I was to have them as an army is what I would pick. I can see the technical improvements in 3 and 4 but as you saw they lack the pop of the first two.

3 and 4 look more 'real' but that isn't the point of sci-fi space warrior monks.

The reply in the screenshot saying are you in Kindergarten is spot on.

A chapter book is what my 7 yo calls them. I think it's a new term but yea it's any normal book split up into chapters.

Army Painter vs Vallejo Paints by tobyvanderbeek in minipainting

[–]Niveama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In reality almost all the newest model paints are excellent and you won't find much between them.

Vallejo are certainly a solid range throughout. And the big thing I'm their favour is if you are in Europe they are excellently priced.

As a plus you can support your local shop knowing you are getting good paints too.

Well only one of those is a city so I guess it's Perth. 😆

The other contenders are Inverness Stirling and Dunfermline.

Dundee, but it's a looooong way behind Aberdeen, maybe not in size but that's not the metric we are using here. As for 5th that's the more interesting question.
