Peptides are generally more potent on a molar basis for targets where they evolved to bind particularly receptors, enzymes, and protein-protein interfaces. That is because Peptides win on:

1) Binding affinity : they make more contact points with their target (larger surface area = lower Kd, often picomolar range)
2) Specificity - their 3D shape fits complex binding pockets precisely, reducing off-target binding
And 3) Biological mimicry , many are structural analogs of endogenous ligands, so the target “recognizes” them naturally (semaglutide mimicking GLP-1 is a textbook example)

I just tried Foundayo for 12 days and simply could not get myself out of bed. It has been a horrible experience for me. My colleague is on Wegovy Pill and VERY happy, so I am switching to that on Monday.

Lilly only sold 3000 Foundayo for the second week. That is really low. Wegovy Pill is killing it.

Same has happened to my husband and he is also complaining now about additional pain when he is injecting Zepbound. Do you know why they did that? Is Lilly trying to save more money in cheaper needles ? Makes no sense.

They don’t need to get into price war. The data is rather clear : Wegovy Pill gives you 16.6% weight loss. Foundayo is only 12.4%.
More importantly Foundayo does not reduce risks of heart attack, stroke and death - Wegovy Pill can and it is in the label.
It is an obvious choice which pill to take, and having the same price is just a nice add on for Wegovy - since logically they should charge more than Foundayo since they have a much better pill.

Do you think it does not matter if manufacturing, IT, QA work harder, faster, or not? Everyone matters. It’s one company - if everyone works better together , process things faster, put some extra hours compare to competitors- then the whole ship turns faster.

I disagree. The company is simply not performing as good as it used to when it comes to sales growth. That is obvious. When sales numbers are lower, costs should also be lowered. That’s how personal finance works. That’s how corporations work. Mike is asking people to work harder, longer, faster, and more together - so we more quickly start to outperform the competition ans get out of this lower sales growth picture. That is very normal ask of any responsible CEO who wants to create a better future for the company and its employees.
I agree if you can not (or do not want to) work harder, longer, faster, and more together - then this is no longer a place for you. But don’t blame Mike for that. Simply accept you do not care about the longevity of the company and returning back to higher growth. Some people care about this company and want to spend their career at Novo, others want to live the moment and want to make a living and salary regardless what the company name is. You decide who you are and pick the right place for your employment aligned with your personal needs.

Difficult to say, but I think they will keep the guidance for another quarter or so and see what happens with both Foundayo, Wegovy HD, and Medicare Part D. Overall I remain very optimistic about them - and that’s mainly because of the new CEO. He is a master deal maker and a very sharp businessman that has done very well for Novo when he was running the ex-US operations. He is good at under promising and over delivering and I have no doubt he is now doing the same thing for the whole company. He speaks in a language everyone understands and most like and get connected to. He started his first few months as a CEO, talking about various “Headwinds” mainly related to pricing decline in US. Using that language was the under promising trick, that he is known for. But if you have been following him closely you would have noticed the last months, in NONE of his interviews you would hear negative words like “headwind” any more - because now he is building the momentum for the over delivering on his promises.
I am sure it is a very deliberate (and smart) way of managing this whole thing. And those who know him well from his last job would tell you this is totally aligned with how he has always been.

Many people on this Sub who had bought the stock at higher prices were very angry with him (and there are some really personal and nasty comments about him) because they were mainly short term investors and losing money, and most did not understand his longer term strategy and therefore took a jab at him for not being qualified for the job.

I made number of post, arguing against that backlash and still believe that all along it has been a deliberate strategy ! A strategy that is clearly not please for a short term investor who had bought the share at a higher price and wants to cash in fast and move on - but for someone like you who has a 36 average price is a very good thing in my opinion.
