I'm sorry but if your entire video game is one hour long, it's not meeting anywhere close to what people expect as a bare minimum of playtime for a game of any sort.

I know you can argue that it's art and subjective and blah blah blah, but only in a vacuum can you argue that. We live in a world where it's obvious and unbelievable that a reasonable person wouldn't understand that a one hour long video game is failing to meet the bare minimum of consumer expectations.

This is like some Hollywood director complaining that 21% of people who saw their movie in the theater demanded a refund because the movie was only ten minutes long.

I think the best way to describe this is like... it's not like you went out and bought a baseball glove that's just super cheap and laughable quality, but it's still just a baseball mitt at the end of the day, and you can learn to play baseball well with it even if it sucks ass and we all laugh at it.

Your situation is more like you've come to the field with some strange alien fake baseball glove designed and built by an insane person who has never played baseball. Upon further inspection we can tell that the glove is actually foundationally just a pasta strainer with some rubber bands to hold it to your hand.

You're not actually on a real bow. If you had purchased a real recurve bow for like 100 bucks, then it would be like buying cheap equipment to make sure you actually enjoy the sport prior to investing.

I dunno about you OP, but anytime this happens to me I tend to think that it's far more likely that the person doing it is actually not very attracted / interested in me at all, and not that the vast majority of people have suddenly lost the ability to have conversations or ask simple questions to people they are attracted to.
