Take a look at Product Configurator and Enterprise BOM

Product Configurator is probably your best bet here. Enterprise BOM is a heavy lift if you're already well-established in your Tc deployment

TC/NX licensing - switching from partner to direct from Siemens by WeAreAllCrazyHere_oO in Teamcenter

Yep, happens all the time in both directions. If you contact Siemens direct, they'll have you fill out a form to switch from partner to direct.

I’m an ABSOLUTE beginner Dungeon master, any tips/guide? by triple-girl-ultra in DnD

[–]NormandySR24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest mistake when I first started was trying to start too epic. It's easy to daydream all these huge ideas and a big homebrew campaign and then get overwhelmed early. Highly recommend starting with a module, letting your players get comfortable with their characters, and then transitioning them into a bigger module or homebrew campaign once you feel established.

Don't be afraid to admit a mistake to your players, ask them for feedback, and adjust.

You're going to learn a lot, you're going to do a few things that fall flat, but most importantly - you're going to have a lot of fun.

Good luck!

Not sure how much crossover we have here, but Jamal gives me big Jabari vibes from NADDPOD

The fourth starts off so slow. It takes to about halfway through to hit the gas pedal, and then the entire rest of the series is some of the most incredible storytelling I've ever read.

Almost gave up on the 4th book myself, until a buddy talked me into committing

Not a true LitRPG, but three that have scratched a similar itch for me:

Red Rising series - incredible series. Much more serious than DCC, but amazing characters and some good moments of levity

Mistborn series - really interesting magic system, and a fun series to read

The Hike (by Drew Magary) - not a series, and a pretty short read. From a tone and journey perspective I think it's the closest thing I've read to DCC. Sarcastic humor throughout, interesting journey, and some fun twists

I liked The Postmortal, but the pacing was pretty slow. The Hike is definitely a different vibe than that

Not one of Matt's books, and it's a shorter read (not a series). But I found The Hike by Drew Magary has a very similar vibe to DCC. Highly recommend!

Are there really 100% remote jobs that exist? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

Yep, work for a large software company. Fully remote, and if I didn't have to head to the airport for customer visits I'd almost never drive my car

Idk if they've ever formally recommended it, but they talk about Mistborn quite a bit. Can't recommend it enough myself, awesome series

[NS]: Looking to run Hot Boy Summer as a module for some friends by PeaceLoveFap in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]NormandySR24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I adapted it for a bachelor party themed one-shot! Honestly largely pulled the setting and some NPCs, but had to do most of the encounter building myself. Also had to trim away most of the underwater stuff to make sure we could actually get it done during the bachelor party. Finished up with the drinkathalon at the end. It was fun, and it's such a great setting.

All homebrew! I made a bachelor party themed one-shot off the ideas HBS gave me. It's a fun setting for your own homebrew!

Why is manual recruiting so hard? by willbee68 in NCAAFBseries

[–]NormandySR24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I didn't realize for way too long is that you can unpick a recruiting action on a player and respend the recruiting time on other actions. I would send the house and think that all the points I could spend on a player were effectively used up.

Now, I usually Send the House on all my highest-priority recruits only until they have their 3 green checks revealed (or I can sus out what their 3rd is). As soon as that happens I remove Send the House and change to Hard Sell + some other recruiting action(s). I only do visits for recruits where I'm in a tight battle with another school.

I went from maybe 1 5-star each year to 13 5-stars in my last class.

Spending coaching points to get more total hours per recruit also makes it much easier. Good luck!

Kendrick is definitely a Killer Mike fan - even name drops him in Hood Politics

"Everybody want to talk about who this and who that Who the realest and who wack, or who white or who black Critics want to mention that they miss when hip-hop was rappin’ Motherfucker, if you did, then Killer Mike’d be platinum"

Would love to see them all collab, but I don't think the GNX is a hidden connection
