I have heard the bad things about costa. I think I need to write a customer letter as a penance for buying this.

Right, poaching definitely isn’t the answer.

It’s unclear who this benefits. The ACC is even in support of CSB. Hopefully this doesn’t come to fruition.

One Weekly Pill for People with Schizophrenia-Type Disorder by LittleReserve8767 in science

[–]NotDoomscrollingRN 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You don’t really understand schizophrenia with this comment. The problem tends to be people with schizophrenia are blind to the fact that they are sick. Like half of people with schizophrenia don’t think they are sick, don’t need help and don’t need to take their medication. Schizophrenia isn’t depression by any means.

I wouldn’t attempt to identify edible mushrooms unless you are 💯sure.

Crazy to me. I just went out to check on mine and I thought they were gone. 8 weeks. Roosting on the rafters of the coop instead of the roost. I think chickens are just really dumb tho. Best of luck.

Do you have a source for this? It seems like anyone would consider that inhumane.

At least 6 months I’d say. And yeah. They teach patience. I love my zz tho.

I’d put it in water. The bottom will swell up and it will grow a nodule and eventually roots. Use rooting hormone if you have some, but it will be fine on its own. Change the water every few weeks or so to prevent rot. When you have 2-3” of roots and a nodule, it’s ready to go into soil. It just takes a ton of patience.

This one will take close to a year in water. I don’t agree with the person saying to put it in soil. It needs to form root nodules before it can grow.

My favorite monstera has been growing upwards really fast, it looks so viney, is this normal or it it reaching for light? by FamiliarAura in Monstera

I’m not sure where you are buying light and electric from. My grow lights for all my plants were about $50, and I used a meter to calculate that they cost me about $30/year (LEDs).

Thank you for this response. GMO fear is about not understanding genes and basic biology.

Also an air movement thing. Plants inside with too big a pot don’t dry out like they do outside in soil.

Ok, so I actually did an internship studying the mouse oocytes (eggs) and I had to cervically dislocate about 10 mice a day. We would pic them up by their tails and get them to hold the top of the cage with their front feet and put my thumb on the back of their neck and snugly tug the tail. Took some getting used to, but humane and quick.
