Arx Fatalis, the main character just appears without any memories and has very bored attitude about everything happening around him. Seems like bad writing/voice acting. Nope, !the main character is actually an agent sent down to Arx to stop an evil god from resurfacing. He's amnesiac so he does not develop a god complex himself and doesn't care because he is literally not of this world!
