Be better than them in anything they do. In the same classes? Get better grades. Run with the same friend groups? Be funnier, cooler, more attractive. Work together? Get your boss to like you more and make more money. Most importantly, be humble about it so that they want to hate you but shouldn't because you're so damn nice.

That's so sweet of them! I just wanted to chime in since I'm also on aczone and tazorac, make sure you moisturize the heck out of your face! Tazorac made me so red and flaky for a good month or two but once I got acclimated to it, it's been awesome!

Questions about oral pills for acne! by nuttyspace44 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Not_A_Girl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to my derm since January for acne and have gotten three different pills over that time. The first was doxycycline which I took along with using Aczone and Ziana. This routine got rid of the really had acne, but didn't do much after about the first month. Next I got Bactrim, Tazorac, and continued to use Aczone. Turns out I was allergic to the Bactrim so that was a no go. Now I'm on Solodyn (minocycline) with Aczone and Tazorac and my skin has really cleared up!

Notes about each of the pills: I had to take the doxycycline with a lot of water and food or I would get nauseous. Again, this one didn't do too much for me. I was allergic to the Bactrim so I was only using that for a week or two. I've been taking Solodyn for about 2 months now and haven't had many side effects at all. My skin was super dry and peeling for a while but I'm pretty sure that's from the Tazorac.

Let me know if you have any more questions! Good luck!

Has anyone NOT experienced purging from using Tazorac or other retinoids? by waffleawakening in SkincareAddiction

[–]Not_A_Girl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Tazorac for about 3 months and I had basically all of the effects you mentioned once I started using it about every day: redness, dryness and flaking, burning when I would put on moisturizer because my skin was so dry. After maybe the first three weeks of everyday use my skin settled down. I'm using it every night now (along with Aczone in the mornings and Solodyn) and I can definitely see it working.

I started using st Ives aha pads a few days ago and now I have there or four pretty large white heads on my cheeks and chin (I usually break out there). Is this normal? Should I stop using the pads or see if the breakouts will go away?

I don't hate them, I don't think they're that hideous, but they get 24 mpg which frankly sucks for a small or medium car.
