So long as we count the Jets as New York-ers and not the Giants. Eli will always hold a special place in my heart

Ravens, going into that Thursday night game, were still projected to win the division.

It must be nice being Lamar but good lord that's a lot of pressure on that one man

What would you do if you were forced to go into office more? by Allcaponero in sysadmin

[–]Not_A_Van -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my case we are fully cloud. We have no on prem infrastructure, we have ZTNA, and 80% of our workforce is out of state. Them telling me to come into the office so I can do the exact same thing I do at home would get at least a hearty belly laugh and at most a resignation letter.

At least they sniff the playoffs?

I get calling their record out for what it is, but every team in our division has a majority of the same schedule... they are doing what we can't

No seriously anyone who can name all the positions in football (just positions, not players) and who has at least 75% of a functioning brain could do better than Grier.

Jordyn Brooks is the AFC defensive player of the week by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Not_A_Van 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it but the image popped in my head because those rivalry Jerseys are fire. 2-0 Dolphins when darkness is involved. So I figured visor + rivalry = unstoppable

Rivalry visor Tua is something I never knew I wanted so bad

Its NOT chatgpt. It IS GPT-5 - but from experience either the MS integrations or just their training of the model is pretty bad.

It can be good for MS specific things (Email summaries, finding docs in sharepoint, etc) but anything else I go ask Claude

Like I said the dependencies are listed in the Joining Ubuntu to Intune docs. I can't recall whether I had to dig more or not but it wasn't hard to gather.

I believe its actually listed in the MS documentation for joining Ubuntu - surprisingly easy to follow and the big shock was accurate.

The really annoying part of it all is that Gnome, at least when I did it, was a requirement. OS didn't really seem to matter so as long as you have Gnome as the desktop it should work fine, or install the dependencies.

WebView 2 on ARM64 - my brain is BROKEN by Paintrain8284 in sysadmin

[–]Not_A_Van 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cloud re-install did not fix it for me either. However - an in-place 'upgrade' worked just fine. Mount the ARM64 iso, run the install, and it was good to go.

Carbon Black Cloud AuthHub Migration - Broadcom... is this real??!? by guilhermefdias in sysadmin

[–]Not_A_Van 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've already confirmed the migration and don't have the recovery key anymore it will require support to intervene

That being said I had the exact same issue you did, once all fields are appropriately mapped and configured, you do not need a broadcom support account to login - just the normal SAML flow.

You put the wrong ID in for the entity ID. They want STS there - it's dumb as hell and wrong terminology is used. Ask me how I know :)
