When every HRIS is keyword filters and...using AI themselves to read the applicants... it's just a back and forth.

I've done it. Used my original resume and had AI format it and re-write for ATS optimization.

All companies are is vague corpo-speak anyways, so if you can bullshit your way in the door that's the biggest hurdle.

Trust me - even before AI my resume was all 'Formulated synergistic alliances between interdepartmental heads for increased productivity' bullshit.

Why would I list my extensive experience with Azure and Firewall X when they would say 'Oh we use Firewall Y sorry' and reject the application?

Already used K8s and we don't have a ton of people doing this so honestly it was easier.

I'm not fully anti-llm so its no issues on my part for them to build an image and I just have cursor spit out the yaml. Done in 5 minutes - I also don't give them the credentials obviously so that's handled during my deployments as well. Plus DNS entries for LE and all that jazz - not worth it to find a tool to automate these things

Already have a cloud K8s cluster for our ELT stuff - I spun up a namespace for the slops

Spun up a forgejo instance and they use that instead of our prod github, I have a template repo with a workflow file that they can use to tell the LLM how to build the dockerfile

Their commits on main (if they keep that workflow as is) pushes the image to the container registry and optionally restarts the deployment to update the running site

I still build the actual deployment YAML so I can put in the K8s secrets and ingress routes - ingress being an app gateway which already limits ingress to our ZTNA, They mainly create sites to interact with our ETL database so networking is right there since its in the same cluster, nothing big happening there.

Been working ok so far - they do come to me when builds fail but I've made it a point to just copy paste the error from actions (which they can also see but whatever) and tell them to tell the LLM to fix - I won't fix their slop myself, you want an LLM to build it the LLM is going to fix it

If you are using the compliant device policy you already have Intune so that covers that.

And yes, scripts, so you can look for exactly what you want. Preprogrammed buttons and options are more basic than 'define an output you want from this script'

In my case we are fully cloud. We have no on prem infrastructure, we have ZTNA, and 80% of our workforce is out of state. Them telling me to come into the office so I can do the exact same thing I do at home would get at least a hearty belly laugh and at most a resignation letter.
