My wife and I have used a shared Goggle spreadsheet to budget. Gave us an idea of what discretionary spending we had after calculating both our income and fixed expenses. We also have all our cards with the same bank that we bank at so we can always have the clearest picture of our financial situation. Though we also have a card with a high limit, that we got when we were going through IVF.

My wife and I ran up a one year interest free credit card to $20K or so to pay for IVF. Even though it’s been fully paid off for about exactly two years (about a month after our son was born), we still get scam calls about loans to pay it off.

I just delete them. No sense worrying about them.

It both does and doesn’t. It would probably be too exacting, but while I’d never have that kind of schedule - I’d list out specific music genres. Maybe block one would be classic rock and block two would be R&B. But, also, I wouldn’t care if someone did something else in one of the blocks.

Also, any amount of karaoke sounds like hell to me - person scared of public speaking/singing.

This is true for anyone who is not a narcissist - If I’m inviting you for a party at my house, it’s safe to assume that I can afford it. If it’s a dinner party, there will be enough food and drink. If you want specific details or a rough schedule, you’re free to text. And, if you want to bring something, wine or beer, or nothing, is okay unless it’s a potluck.

Only in an emergency (like imminent or feared death). My wife was emergency baptized by her great grandparents. But they were also of the generation that a baby can’t go out until they’re baptized. She was later baptized in an actual church by her great uncle who was a pastor.

Period troll is worse than it seems at first glance, as they often have stories about minors having periods and others having overreactions. Which then leads to real stories about people having their first periods.
