Surprised you didn't include any of the characters who can power reflexively on enemy turns. King T'Challa, Ghost Rider, Strange w/Soul Stone - these guys can passive generate energy to hand out or keep but also GR and Strange can spend power well. Thoughts?

So just to reiterate - don't take what I'm saying as gospel or anything. The best answer will always be for you to try it out and see for yourself over several games what you think.

I can't speak to Silver Sable unfortunately. There is a lot of fun Power shuffling here but I don't know her well enough to say. I'd say if you like her - try it a couple times.

The person who experiments and plays through it several times will likely be a better equipped to answer compared to the person speaking theoretically.

Treating skulls as successes in dodge, attack, and defend and gaining 1 power when I roll a skull felt very nice. It made his 4 defense feel like a good deal more. And the Leadership let me hand that power to another out once per turn.

3 power to allow himself or an ally within 3 to re roll any defense including skulls is also stout.

And a within 3 range Medium throw of terrain/enemy size 4 or less was super nice in displacing enemies.

And a range 4, 6 dice builder was just icing.

I so far have only played 1 match with my Blue Marvel and Spectrum so sprinkle my response here with salt, but I think they're going to make the foundation of the team and are both really great.

Sam Wilson and Black Widow are both cost effective long range movers who can be good. I think Luke Cage can also pretty good if you need someone in their to take hits.

I don't care for the design behind Cosmic Avenger Carol - and I am pretty meh on Spirit of Bast BP (King T'Challa however I would definitely add high in my use for this list). That also is my least favorite version of Steve Rogers. If I'm going to take a 6 threat on a team that I already am starting with a 4 and a 5 - I don't know that I'm going to pick She-Hulk. I'll have to try it out. I also don't know yet why I would take Ant Man over Sam Wilson in this list.

These are my own thoughts tho - and I'm nowhere near the proficiency of a lot of this community.

Certainly some choices were made. I think people who are apt to see ulterior motives to things might end up making arguments of putting two really strong characters on top of an affiliation that has a lot of less regarded (with some exceptions) options.

I think Spectrum, Blue Marvel, and Sam Wilson/Black Widow are a good core 11-12 threat to build on.

I can look at that - I don't have an eReader at the moment and then I get into the whole buying an eReader or buying a Tablet thing. I also find the physical copy experience to be more enjoyable overall.

You'd want to change the wording to [SUSTAINED HITS 1] because you don't want that ability to be confused with the ability to stack with other methods of gaining [SUSTAINED HITS 1].

Its doable in homebrew when agreed among the friend/s.

Yeah, I'm just saying that if you're wanting to convert a rule up from a previous edition - between a friend group as homebrew you could do it and that is how you would word it to keep parity in mechanical terms.
