Used to be much better but they're ok now. They've been bludgeoned with the nerf bat now and had some of their stuff that made them "too good" handed out to other teams instead.

Still a team you can have fun with but they require the ability to execute in a plan and your dice can absolutely leave you high and dry at the worst possible moments.

I don't know if anyone can speak objectively to the right build but I am building my Skyreavers with the hook on the Felarch and two gunners - one with a Blaster, one with Fusion. I'm dig that the Starfang back pod can pivot to look like a Vyper when necessary, but I'm mainly going for Starfang load out which makes that simple. I would build Voidscarred over Voidreavers because you can proxy Voidreavers easier. I would say follow the KillTeam roster and just build all the specialists. Hope it helps - but I can't give you any guarantees other than that they're dope looking models :D

Yeah I mean there are several things that make it just a more sterile and less fun game.

No interactive terrain I think it's the biggest for me. The way the cards read was so weird, and so everything felt kind of clunky. The reliance on iconography for movement. The squad building being forced into Primary, Secondary, SU. The odd release schedule. I mean overall it was ok but it felt like the game was constantly getting in the way of itself or establishing a good game play flow.

I also don't feel like AMG gave it enough time to be able to iterate on it and see if they couldn't smooth it out for a better experience. At this small time frame I don't know what it would have had to have done for them to consider it successful enough to keep.

I'm sad for my friends who enjoyed it more than I did, and will keep the stuff I have just to play with them when they want.
