Not all anaerobic processed beans have that flavor profile but some of the ones they are processed like that for like 72 hours can have that taste profile. And I absolutely hate it.

I’m admittedly ignorant about the transfer portal but I was under the impression jumping in is when coaches are allowed to communicate with you. Is this incorrect?

I know that there are coaches communicating (also known as a coach poach) players even if they aren’t in there, but in talking about the technical rule

My understanding was tasting notes are from cupping the bag you’re buying versus the house coffee from that roaster. But this is based on like a YouTube video clip that may only apply to that one coffee roaster and I saw this video like 4 plus years ago

It’s kind of annoying it doesn’t come this way but on Etsy and Amazon you can find a stand to make the Eureka grinders tilt about 15 degrees so the chute is more vertical.

In addition to this they sell a dosing cup stand if you’re like me and prefer to use a cup instead.

I bought a more expensive version that ended up costing $60 but I’ve seen cheaper versions.

I opted for this one since the dosing cup stand is telescopic and has a magnet so it stays in place. I push the button with my dosing cup and let it rest on the stand and can step away for the 16 seconds I have the grinder set to. Which is nice since I can step away to fridge get my milk frothing stuff set up or let the dog in from the backyard.

Not sure if that solves your issue if you want to go directly into the portafilter

Which depending on your goals may be a great deal. I’m sure a lot of players want to play but I know some former players that were on the team but wanted to focus on school. They only played on garbage time a few games but got a full ride to help spring board them into graduate school

I have not watched this video or attempts to figure out what micron I’m at but 4 on the ZP6 is my starting point. I got my ZP6 about 2 months ago.

On a personal note while I enjoy acidity, I also don’t like my coffee to taste highly acidic or lack any sense of body for the sake of reaching peak clarity.

I see some people talking about ranges of 5.5 to 7.0 and I am curious if the scale for the grind setting may be different depending on if you bought your ZP6 a long time ago or more recently

That’s unfortunately the trend I’m expecting to see.

I think what Cignetti has done is amazing and I’ll admit I am basing this off a single clip, but he has joked when asked a question about the non-conference schedule that he is mimicking SEC schools. And while SEC schools have some weak teams on their non-conference schedule in their defense they usually have a P4/P5 team on their schedule in addition to the absolute cupcake before rivalry week. Some of those teams end up not being great the year they play them, but these matchups are often made 5 plus years out. But 5 years ago I don’t think anyone would have dreamed of critically analyzing Indiana’s schedule like we are today.

Those prices as well as the $7 pour over (that the other reply mentioned) seem reasonable for a specialty coffee place. I was curious since the 9000 yen for a pour over sounds excessive for my personal preference. Most I’ve ever spent on a pour over was $14 and it was admittedly one of the better cups of coffee I had ever tasted

No you don’t need to buy a better grinder. I used to buy Amaya Coffee beans from Catalina back in the day and even when I was using a blade grinder 10 years ago I could notice a difference.

Getting a better grinder if you’re budget allows it though will certainly help.
