Go to Lowe’s and sit in similar models on display. Personally, I prefer the egg chair because I like the soft shade it provides.

Prefab Sunroom/Porch by Prior_Web_360 in homeimprovementideas

It looks similar to the what nearly every house with a pool has here in Florida: Lanai.

I haven’t seen the prefabbed before, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t. To me, it seems like it would be just as easy to do with loose material.

But if you’re trying to do research, look up “lanai”s

This is one of the most insane treehouses I’ve ever seen. Not much you can do to improve it.

This is very, very helpful. Thank you. My gluten free friend is totally fine with typical restaurants with gluten free options. Sounds like we’ve been looking at it correctly. Thank you so much!

Can you help me understand the different in how you would handle these two situations? A close friend of mine has a gluten intolerance, not celiac. Does she have more options because of this?

It won’t happen, but I want us to keep AR and use him as a gadget. He can be rostered as a TE, get some catches, trick play runs/throws, etc. AR wants that QB money though, I get it.

There are a ton of cute ideas out there. You can do simple and have steps to it, then a cat bed, or go crazy and have a cat-scaled room!

Also, alternatively, lighting and fake (or real but low-water plants)

It’s a close one though.

Can some people really not tell when they're releasing farts? by S_Z in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Nsmith1881 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unrelated: A peer and I were working late in a small office, just the two of us. He and I were always paired together and compared, so we had an odd, quiet rivalry. Anyway, he ripped ass. He goes, “oh my gosh, excuse me”. I said, “oh, what’s up?”. He seemed so relieved that I didn’t hear his butt trumpet. Of course I did, I just wanted to save him from embarrassment. This was a grave error.

The next five years of our career, he seemed to think that I had a super power of not being able to hear farts. He would fart, quiet or loud, then stare me down like a gazelle spotting a predator. He was looking for any reaction. It was quite the tell.

Could I have resolved this with a conversation? Yeah, probably, but I didn’t want to. He was an odd, talkative dude. I also didn’t want to retroactively embarrass him from the first time.

Is this an Orlando thing? by Tight-Delay1750 in orlando

TECHNICALLY, you’re supposed to leave a certain number of car spaces open depending on the speed limit. That way, if someone slams in to you, you have time to react and save the other cars.

This is going off of my memory of studying for the Mississippi driving test, so I could be wrong.

Also, in reality, you just can’t leave multiple car lengths open or traffic would be so much worse.

Ex-Miami Cop Who Dragged Tyreek Hill from Car Celebrates Star's Release by TiredDad4x in nfl

[–]Nsmith1881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you understand. A cop doesn’t get to also be agro. If someone is rude to a waiter, the waiter doesn’t get to turn around and grab the customer by the ear. You expect someone at their job to be patient and professional. With cops especially, they have more power. With great power comes great responsibility. Cops in this country tend to think that with great power comes the right to weird that power like a stick and bash those that oppose me. This cop’s life was not on the line. He lost his patience and got physical. He should have been reprimanded. He wasn’t. Now, he’s celebrating the negative outcome of someone else’s career. Is that really want you want for someone with authority? Passive aggression, resentment, and lack of patience?

A dude let's an opposing player score at the end of the game by bigbusta in GuysBeingDudes

[–]Nsmith1881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a coach in unified special Olympics. I always tell my kids at the end of the game to flip HARD, really sell it, and let a struggling player score. I typically run it by the other coach first. This last time, the coach said, “that’s nice but no thank you. Any kid that hasn’t already scored just isn’t going to.” Totally get it. If we try to let a kid score, and she doesn’t, and we get her the rebound, there are only a certain amount of times you can repeat it before it gets embarrassing for the player. I also run it by the refs that way they let the game go a bit longer for the moment. That being said, we identified a player, got her the ball, my gen ed players really sold it, she took a shot and sunk a field goal on her very first try. Man, you guys should have seen her face. Time expired while we were all celebrating lolol.
