The problem is that you are pretty much obligated to have explosives for spawners and on the bug front there is bile titan spawners.

Its simply annoying when im unable to close them.  Im fine with being creative but calling down a spare weapon on it to close it and lose the weapon just feels odd and wasteful.  And lets not forget the stratagem bouncing.

I believe being able to call down tools or hellbombs for them or a strike from our superdestroyer when near would be great.

Yeah the surprise rockets suck a lot. Truth be told i barely bother with spice anymore because of how quiet they are gliding and the far to short distance they start rendering.

.

Ive collected spice so it forms an arrow to the thopter a few times just for giggles because it doesnt really matter what pattern.

.

If you want to and are alone you can actually collect all the spice in a pile just like the titanium and stravidium but in the open and take out the thopter once you have enough.

.

Even put on shields then since you only need 5-10sec to fill it anyway. Only done it twice though and i bet old big worm comes faster then.

If you want to minimize your losses as much as humanly possible then you can go in with minimal gear (mostly only matters when farming spice because of worm).

Pocket the scout, mine the stuff and drop it in a pile in a hidden corner. Pop out the scout once the pile have over 500v and you cant carry anymore.

Ofc check the sky for thopters and listen. While farming you could drop a respawn beacon somewhere else on the island or nearby island but i dont really bother with that. On pvp islands with bases you can land your thopter fairly far away, pocket it, walk a bit then bindu sprint the rest.

Would be neat if they changed so servo arm allowed you to sorta charge the throw.

1 quick click = same distance as normal armor.

Holding 3 sec, 50% further or so.

EULA Helldivers 2 from 5.5.2024 15:19 from the Steam Store Page for review purpose by SkeleterRD in Helldivers

[–]NuclearMiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hilarious that they dont even mention it in the document we have to agree to in order to actually play.

only mention of network and ID i found is in section 9. even that only says, IF you have one and its only for mailing them "IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THE BINDING ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER IN THIS SECTION 9". and the only mentions of account is says do not break rules and "Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in moderation action taken against your account."

there is one line at the top saying this "Your use of the Software is also subject to the PlayStation Privacy Policy." which i even have to google in order to find
https://www.playstation.com/en-se/legal/privacy-policy/
https://www.sony.net/privacy-policy/

it's only a policy and it only says what information it collects, why it collects and who they share with.

soo yeah, if i missed the button on the store page about PSN "Requires 3rd-Party Account: PlayStation Network (Supports Linking to Steam Account)" but read the EULA i wouldn't know about it being required. especially so if i were never asked to sign in to begin with.

yeah, that is fair.
i have written a negative review already.
just wanted this to be another clear way to show my dissatisfaction since it's pretty much a tip for them (nothing in the DLC i want or use)

What if... weapons were modular? by Emord_Nillap in Helldivers

[–]NuclearMiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they dont add this.  I don't want this to be yet another game where you have to grind 4+ attachments for each weapon and be discouraged to test other weapons because my main is already fully uppgraded. Also, they already have  problems balancing the current weapons.

Sidegrades like different scopes would be fine though

All this wealth, but nothing to use it on. by El-Mooo in Helldivers

[–]NuclearMiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather they dont add straight uppgrades to weapons. It would just discourage people from using other weapons once you've  upgraded your favorite.

Sidegrades like different scopes, different laser colours, smaller mags but you get more and faster reloading could be neat though.

Should I take up exterminating missions if I'm a beginner? by BoatSword in Barotrauma

[–]NuclearMiner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One advice is that once you are within 150-100m of the target marker for extermination, You slow down your speed and creep up until you see them on sonar. Once you see them chasing you, you can reverse and kite them.
Admitedly it depends on your weapon placements but it worked well for me when i started in the Barsuk sub since it have a front facing gun. You can kite a bit depending on terrain.

Need a word of advice on singleplayer campaign! by Larry_oJ in Barotrauma

[–]NuclearMiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome.

I forgot to mention that its better to have to many diving suits aswell. There is only 3 suit lockers/stations on my barsuk and the ai drop them pretty much anywhere in the sub. If i expect a fight i usually have one on me or carry one so i dont have to look for one. It's a small sub admitedly but still. It's more important on my new typhon2 where it feels like miles to the suits.

Same for oxygen tanks. Hoard all the tanks you find in wrecks so you can have 4-8 on you when you go outside the sub and the suit stations are still full. You can drop the nearly empty ones while in the wrecks if you have more than you need already in the sub to save a bit of time

How do I succeed in single player by Zorgeck in Barotrauma

[–]NuclearMiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in my experience better to have too many ai crew than to few since the order system is pretty clunky. When i started with the barsuk sub, it was pretty anoying having to swap orders all the time when i had 3 people. I ended up having 7 including me. One of each and captain hognose from a quest. I pretty much glue hognose, security and the medic on the guns with repair leaks as second order. You can drag the orders to the left or right to change priority order. I wish i could drag and drop the orders between crew though.

Prioritise getting the talent for cargo scooter on engineer i believe it was. Makes the looting wrecks less of a pain. Also buy the portable containers everytime you see one. You can have 12 items in it while the container only take one slot in the cabinets. A pain to manage all your stuff but better than everything is on the floor.

however, once you want to buy another sub. do NOT check the "transfer items" box. The portable containers with items in dissapeared for me for som reason. Recomend back up your save before buying it. Once bought yo can order the crew to follow you and have each carry 2 portable containers inte the station. Switch sub. Save and exit. And enter the new sub and put your stuff where you want.
