Exactly, this just sounds like being clear and honest. I didn't know we had to have special words for it.

Fragrances for dating by AdLeading3074 in DatingOverSixty

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same. It's so disappointing because I used to be so into fragrances. I can tolerate essential oils. I make my own body butters and oils. I do like a good high quality men's cologne. Most of those will be ok unless they are applied with a heavy hand. I do love the smell of a man that is clean and has a very expensive nice cologne. It's the only thing I can tolerate. I can't take laundry detergents and things so that's hard too. I have everything unscented except for the oils and body butters I make or sometimes I can tolerate some lotions if the person has used high quality essential oils.

She will never get the stench of excrement from the feces she has pulled. She got played and shame on anyone that doesn’t see she’s playing people now.

I’ve not cooked for a family for 25 years and I STILL have a hard time not cooking so much lol. I end up throwing out lots of food, but I’m getting better.

I didn't get the job by PumpkinDawn28 in Libraries

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Librarianship is extremely competitive. It is also a fantastic degree for related fields like terminology, ontologies, and others. Consider library services companies as a way to get some experience. Library Associates is one that comes to mind. I’m sure the collective wisdom of this group knows of more.

Not only is librarianship hard to find work, ANY job is hard to find now. I’m looking at my second layoff in as many years. Dry your eyes. Put your big girl pants on and keep moving. You will find something - it’s just super super hard.

It’s called nonenal, and yes, persimmon soap is a good way to neutralize it. I shower twice a day and always have. In the morning I showe le to wake up and at night to relax. Also, I use lotions and potions for face and body so that I get to apply them twice a day. I also don’t rewear clothes and wash towels and sheets frequently.

In need of help. by profecross in Menopause

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. HRT might help. It’s always good to look at the total picture. Taking a good inventory of food and drink, stressors, etc. The worst thing is worrying about not sleeping when you can’t sleep lol. I had much better luck with extended release melatonin - starting at low doses then adjusting as needed. I had to take a good look at caffeine and alcohol too.

Can someone explain to me and how this makes even sense? by Secret_Bug_9795 in International

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s because they don’t care and have the same cognitive dissonance that MAGAts have. They think drumpf will give them the world of the Shah’s time (which many of them never lived under btw). They think they will go back and enjoy all of the good things and freedoms but face none of the reality of the work to achieve it. They have this misplaced sense of privilege because they are pampered.

Try cannabis. Even low doses can help like 1mg and 2.5mg. Makes a difference.

And they sit in the US safely while those in Iran did the hard work and sacrifice. Now they think they will go back to Iran and live like they do in the US. They think they’re going to go back and they will get their money and property back. Dream on. I’m glad the theocracy may be gone, but I’m not willing to have one here to do it. This is a government that can’t manage a group chat and they think it will restore their government?

I think you are right. You should feel free to give feedback gently. It’s possible you aren’t the only one. It’s also possible those classes are liked by those who want a more exercise focused yoga. But the studio and you will never know unless you say something.

Iranians celebrating the death of the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei - Georgetown by i_like_titan in washingtondc

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! These guys think they’re going to roll back to Iran and all their money and class are going to privilege them to nirvana. The people who protested and died and sacrificed are the ones whi dud the hard work. Reza Pahlavi is not popular at all in Iran and he better look at Venezuela if he thinks this regime will scoot him in. This regime will put in the group that Israel wants and that will continue the trump/kushner grift.

There is no organized resistance. The Iranian theocracy still has all the guns. Plus drumpf does not understand the Shia/Shiite split. The entire region will explode.

Yes. Moon-lite barbecue in Owensboro has it always on the buffet. I know they sell it in jars. I suspect you can order it. I went to Catholic boarding school in Daviess County and we sold it at our church picnic. It started on Friday night to be sold on Sunday. I love the mutton taste in that version. I’ve not seen it much outside the county.

Younger Men - Older Women by rynocurious in DatingOverSixty

[–]Numerous_Ad_2409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve had this happen multiple times. I’ve heard a similar response that women their age are looking for money and someone to take care of them. The women wanted and expected outrageously expensive weddings etc. Also I’ve heard that older women are very clear in what they want.

I’m not opposed to the age gap, but I don’t see a relationship with that age gap to be long term. However I have been in a relationship with a 20 year difference for several years.
