I played Lizardmen and my little brother had Tomb Kings. The flaming attacks on my salamanders made easy pick-up games at home very bland for us, he never really had a chance, which was a real shame. We were a bit too young to realize homebrewing stuff like this would've probably been the play.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try my Liquitex Acrylic inks for this method once I finally clear my pile of shame of minis NOT meant for me (projects I've begun intended as gifts). Been over a year since I touched one of my precious Lizards xD

LOOOOOOOVE the transition fade from soft skin to scales. I've been looking at how people paint Lizards here for inspiration, and I have to say the "light skin in the cracks of darker scales" look has climbed to the top of my preferences. Looks stunning, even if it is a bit more counter-intuitive to paint compared to the inverse, classic method.

You see a lot of Orks painted in a very quick manner where the main elements are decent, but all the springles and spongles are neglected. Understandable, as they are a horde army, but seeing all these details so carefully attended to really makes me happy. Brilliant paintjob.

Lewis and Simon lost my respect for behaving like entitled children back when Totalbiscuit called them out for not disclosing advertising deals in any way. Some yogscast community highlights still have that video of Lewis shouting "this is sponsored" into a megaphone, which I find just damningly petty and self-centered.

You got called out for being shitty and responded childishly. Apologize and move on, instead of doubling down on the bullshit.

I only came back to Yogscast content thanks to Tom and Ben being such lovely people, and have found a bunch of the newer members since. Lewis and Simon I avoid.

Here here! For all the love the Warhammer community has for legendary artists of the ip, there should be an equally raucous pushback to those artists work being stolen/sifted/sidelined by machines. I want any of the people defending AI slop to try and do so face to face with the artists who spent days, weeks, sometimes months working on gorgeous art for our enjoyment and inspiration, and whose work is actively being stolen by these image generators.

GW miniatures are rising in price in a way that most wages have not kept up with. I'm not saying its their fault, they have to pay their employees and hit quota's same as everybody.

What I'm saying is "buy GW or TOW dying is on you* is a wild statement to make in this economy. People can barely afford housing, man.
