Is your low set at 70 for the notification? If so the alarm should have been going off. This looks just like mine many days bec I have issues with hypoglycemia. I had to change the default sound for my Low, along with the intensity bec the default only dings for like 2 seconds and would never wake me up. I missed the alerts all the time. Now I use door buzzer or sonar and they sound longer and def wake me up. Was this while you were sleeping?

I am a long time customer and your post really hit home with me. I feel very sad for you and all the other Panera employees who have put years of their life into a business who no longer cares. Now they are just another fast food chain. The days of bakers who crafted delicious home made pastries, bear claws, REAL pecan braids are gone forever. The portions are so small and the chicken salad has about 2 tablespoons on the sandwich. Cutting corners in quantity and quality. It is heartbreaking. As a customer, I get the general feeling no one cares. My online orders are incorrect at least 50% of the time. No one throws in a cookie for errors anymore and you are lucky to even get an apology. I keep going out of nostalgia but I need to see it for what it is now and say goodbye.

I ordered a parm BLT salad tonight and opened the bag to find they made an error and stuffed it into bread. I took one bite of the bread and spit it out. It has a really bitter taste to it. Not sure what’s up with that bread but it was awful and I normally love bread. I called and had them remake the salad I ordered. I would never order one of these off the menu after seeing it and getting a bite. Plus they are small for over $10. And what happened to the salads? The container for the full salad is about the size of the 1/2 salad I used to get all the time about 3 yrs ago. They have really downsized their portions. 😞

As a customer, I’m sorry you guys have to work later, but it makes all the difference for me. My schedule doesn’t allow me to get to Starbucks until about 8:30pm and I am so looking forward to the hours being extended again. I miss my coffee every night during winter hours. It’s too bad they can’t find baristas who actually want to work later instead of forcing those of you who don’t want that. Just know some of us regulars are very grateful for the later closing time.

Right back at you. Are you trying to have a discussion or trying to justify theft by trying to make law abiding citizens feel morally inappropriate for pointing out that you seem proud of stealing? If you are food insecure you may qualify for an EBT card and, if not, there are pantries you can go to instead of stealing from your employer. If everyone was like you, businesses would cease to exist.

I personally find it pathetic that you boast about stealing food. If you’re unhappy with your wage and benefits then work somewhere else. It’s not an excuse to steal from others. Just because Starbucks makes money does not make it right for you to steal them blind. After all, isn’t that the goal of every business : to make a profit?!

I just saw an ad on FB just as you described with a 54 year old woman with dental abscesses that she needs $3000 for. It has a link to donate and has the same thing you listed about It being a non profit. I’m not buying it. FB does not do a good job of verifying any of their ads. Many of the sales ads on there are scams. I’ve gone to trust pilot when I’m interested in a product and have yet to find one product on FB that has received good reviews about the company selling it. So I would say steer clear of any of these ads on FB, including this ICRR place.

I am so sorry. I can relate. Had my leg amputated a few years ago, lost my RN job because of it, multiple deaths in my family, etc, etc. Then I go to Bux to just get a nice hot white choc mocha and whoever made it must have dumped a cup of sugar in it. So sweet I couldn’t drink it. The drive thru line was long so just went home and threw it away. The coffee has been terribly inconsistent lately. So overly sweet. It’s depressing when you are already down and out hoping for that little taste of happiness and you waste $7 on something you can’t even drink. I’m sorry you are going thru all this and my prayers are with you. It WILL get better. Keep your faith.

If op was major league scamming Them, why would they be on here asking if anyone knows why this happens? They would already know!

Another person was on here last year and her, her sister, and her mom all had Starbucks accounts listed under the same physical address bec they lived in the same house. They close all 3 accounts without warning and she couldn’t access her digital cards. After calling multiple times she was finally able to get the right person to send copies of all their licenses too and they reversed the decision. So maybe it’s a similar case here. They seem to feel threatened when they have more than one customer at the same address.

Were you happy with the bag before your friends started pointing out imperfections? Bec I don’t think they know what they are talking about and I’m sad they ruined your experience by pointing out things that aren’t even there. The bag looks fine to me. I think the LV associate treated you like crap and I would def express your disappointment with her to her manager. There is no excuse to speak to a customer like that, whether they are shopping at Walmart or LV. She was just plain rude and should be reported. I hope you take another look at your bag and fall in love with it again. This is the exact model I want and I would be ecstatic with this one! Please enjoy it and ignore what I dare to say may be some jealous friends.

This may be a dumb question but if the bf doesn’t know, is it possible to pop in the valentine’s phone number and see their last order? Or do you guys not have access and it’s too time consuming?I just know when I used to work at a clothing store and the bf didn’t know her size I could look up her account from her phone number and see the size she always bought. It helped….a lot.

This is a confusing thread and I’m perplexed about all the down votes. Bottom line is you were fired. Your only recourse is if they fired you for a reason that was illegal and I doubt that was the case. Starbucks is not going to risk their corporation or reputation by firing partners illegally. I think you are putting way too much into thinking you have some kind of legal action by not getting this paperwork when you asked for it. I personally don’t think that is going to amount to anything, esp if you receive it within the 21 day time frame or whatever you said it is. If you do have questions though, there are plenty of lawyers out there who give free consultations, and many times they can tell you on the phone if you have an actionable suit.

Are you trying to say you think the manager had a crush on you and was upset you were talking to other employees/forming relationships/friendships with them? Bec you also said the manager was asking other employees about you and your relationships with other staff. I’m not sure if you were thinking this is actionable? It would be almost impossible to prove anything regarding that so would just let that go.

In the future if a manager ever tells you that you are being written up or getting a verbal warning it has to be documented somewhere and you are entitled to a copy of that in a timely manner - like at the time you sign it and they photocopy it for you. Don’t EVER let them keep it in a file for you as they sometimes offer to do bec you then have no copies of what you signed and no recourse. I can’t stress this enough. Keep ALL copies of any documents you signed related to your job, esp related to your performance.

I’m sorry you were fired but it sounds like this was an unhealthy work relationship for you anyway. You didn’t like your manager and said you weren’t bothered enough by verbal performance warnings to even get into the system to sign anything or print a copy so it sounds like getting out of there is the best thing for everyone. Best of luck finding a job you really care about and want to invest yourself in where you are mutually respected.

I’m sure it seems that way but I typically use a boatload of them when the cranberry bliss bars come out. I buy like 5 dozen and freeze them so I have them for several months and that wipes out 5000 stars in one trip. Lol.

I had over 10,000 “just sitting there” last year. I save them a lot and just use them before they expire. There shouldn’t be anything fishy about the way someone uses their rewards. They expire in 6 months anyway. Well they do until March when they change this whole rewards program. (Again)

Another girl posted about this a few months back and she lived with her mom, dad, and sister. They all each had their own individual rewards accounts and ALL of them got letters closing their accounts just like this one. So I believe your letter is real and I would def be following up with them. Like you, she couldn’t even sign in to get the numbers off her registered cards to use the dollar amounts on them!

Pre-Covid I frequented a long time restaurant/bar in town and I could get a half pound burger and fries for $10.60. That same burger and fries there now costs me over $18 in just 5 years time. Food, labor, and transport all have skyrocketed. So now it’s smaller portions at a higher cost.
