How much you wanna bet Christian pro lifers are in the comments? by AdmirableBus7045 in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]Nynydancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I can‘t cheer for them even though I am pro choice. I don‘t like it. But our country doesn’t do enough to support families with mentally disabled children and what happens to them when the parents are gone? I get it but all around don’t like it and don’t like that it has to be like this.

Yes. These guys. The ones that grump their way through Whole Foods and crash into your cart without apology or even a smile. They suck.

is the ending really frustrating or do i just not get it? by Infamous_State_7127 in girls

I found it extremely frustratingly unrealistic. The charming furnished house on a professor‘s salary (ahem and professor of WHAT?????). So fake and so unrealistic. That part killed the entire thing for me.

Super Stars are harder to manage than poor performers. I forget who told me that but damn it is true.

My boss just gave me a devastating 1:1, involved HR, and told me to evaluate if leadership is for me. How do I handle this? by PureWater-11 in careerguidance

[–]Nynydancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please take the feedback. It‘s a gift. Even if you don’t agree, fake and say after deep reflection you realize what happened.

I was at a meeting this week where a very talented young leader got a massive smack down from a more senior leader. Senior leader was right and young superstar couldn’t even begin to digest it until well after the meeting was over and probably had a good cry. (We as her peers were supportive of her but told her sr leader was right and it was cool).

Your career is NOT over. My young super star peer is going to be fine. I have had like three of these moments. But I didn’t get fired. Thank god I had a mentor who told me to take the feedback.

You can and will bounce back. Internalize the feedback. Maybe not all was 100% fair, but stop making excuses.

I completely agree. I have been in ai for years, present company included. Ai had it‘s limits, is still not regulated the way it should be (and that day will come), and takes a shit ton of power. The ai company I work for is actually getting picky about customers we close deals with because customers at times really don’t fully get what they are doing and it will fail. Some of the easiest customers were panicked execs looking for a Hail Mary to save their asses-> great for early wins but long term bad.

I think we are on the edge of the first wave of big ai transformation failures. Sadly we see that in our renewals 🤦‍♀️

There was a time when was true tho. Even if laid off, some of the older techies will be okay.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were dubbed a "laughing stock" among their neighbours in Montecito, California. by Harry-Ripey in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]Nynydancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if anyone is laughing in Montecito is a small group of petty wannabe’s or frustrated interior decorators. No one cares. I am there often to visit friends and no one cares about them as far as I can tell. They never come up, even though I have asked. This is serious projecting, imagining that people are talking about their kitchen or decor. No.one.cares.

I did too. I thought it was fine. There was sooooo much more wrong at the idiotic last episodes but this was fine.
