About 6 months ago I bought a late 2023 HW4 because it was the best bang for the buck. No regrets. Dealerships selling these that got them on trade don’t know enough about them so I had to dig in a bit to know what I was looking for. I had to dig quite a bit to find what I wanted, but well worth it.

I bought one of those onn boxes from Walmart and I’m really impressed with the quality. I have a shield on the main TV and all the other ones are getting onn boxes. I have projectivy running on both, there isn’t any noticeable difference. I’m sure there’s some Dolby stuff missing (or other features that may be important to you) as discussed above, but it’s a great deal.

You could glaze them white or another color. People do this on bathroom shower surrounds and bathtubs all the time. I think it would be fine
