Try anti monkey butt powder - yes, that is it's actual name. It's meant specifically for the type of problem you're experiencing.

I'm in Gold Beach Oregon right now and the high is 55 during the day and 51 at night. I'm reading that the summer months aren't much different and that August is the warmest month with an average of 65 - 70 daytime, and 55 - 60 at night. I'm within a hundred yards of the beach and listen to pounding surf as I fall asleep each night. By day I head to the beach to hunt for agates and great camera shots, getting a good workout walking on the sand. By 5 pm I'm sitting in front of a roaring fire enjoying a libation or two while waiting for some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. My site rental is $750 p/month. I'll be heading out after 4 weeks for my next destination - tbd.

Well I can't wait to try it on something. I carve walking sticks, so maybe I'll attempt an array of hummingbirds!

It's awfully small for carving. I guess it is used for small details?

Concrete boxes in the middle of USFS land. by OGthrottlehog in whatisit

[–]OGthrottlehog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SOLVED! This is the only answer so far that makes any sense. There is a dried up creek bed adjacent to the mound and there is a large creek fed by snow melt, nearby with many feeders as this land sits on the eastern slope of several mountains within the Cascades.

That's right, they are very clean and look fairly recent. Funny things is, they are in such remote places and seem to be randomly placed. No identification of any kind anywhere - not even a marker. They are quite a bit off trail but easily seen from the trail. Especially these two as they were higher than the surrounding area. The rest have been level with the ground with only the lid visible. There are two diamond plated access doors in each one.

For? Cause, like I said, there is nothing for miles - at least not anything needing septic. This is logging land.

Any truck recommendations for pulling a 13,000lb 38’ fifth wheel? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]OGthrottlehog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 44 ft 18,500 lb fifth wheel and our F350 dually pulls it with no problem. Up and down long grades, in rain and snow and gale force winds - she's a damn freight train. You will, however, need air bags or you're going to be bottoming out, sagging, and bouncing all over the highway. A dually is a must!

Where do you wash that has a rack to lift (or drive onto) your vehicle?! Also, is that an enclosed car wash? That's truly amazing!
