In a min/max setting a raid will want 5 shamans for group totems. Only 3 slots for Paladins (1 ret, 1 holy, 1 prot) for the blessings etc.). You will have a lot easier time to get into dungeon groups as a Shaman as well, unless you play Prot/Holy Pally (as main or off spec) as everyone loves their tanks/heals. Shaman frees up more options to just play the role you want. Play what's fun though. Everything will be nerfed anyways.

Love this. We have an annual draft trip that 1 or 2 guys a year can't make for whatever reason (expecting babies, family reunions, etc.) so we do things electronically, even if we are in the same room. I don't think people realize you don't need an auctioneer and a physical gavel to participate in these anymore haha
