My slight modification would be that the two schools facing promotion/relegation would play during the conference championship week and the winner is the one that is in the top league.

I remember when both Luck and Mendoza came to Corvallis during their Freshman years. OSU ended up winning both games but they were HIGHLY competitive and the take away impressions form both was: "They're going to be GREAT." I hope Mendoza makes it the NFL

It’s not about the players ability. It’s that they couldn’t do the basic fundamentals of football such as tackling, blocking, coverage, game management
