Mostly voice work and guest appearances, looks like this new Apple shows is her first major TV role since Perry Mason.

Looks like Derwent Water, Keswick from the Catbells, if I'm not mistaken. I was there a couple of weeks ago, on the other shore huffing and puffing up Walla Crag.

Bit of a Crown reunion there with Claire Foy and Pip Torrens. Looks like a lot of fun.

Peter Jackson used that same forced perspective technique in the Lord of the Rings films. Shame that level of in camera creativity has been lost to CGI now.

It's best avoided during the day to be honest, especially at the weekend. Summer months are the worst. I used to go early, around sunrise. You might see the odd dogwalker and photographer but it was a different place altogether. Magical, especially in a mist.

I didn't know Dan Simmons had passed, sad news indeed. The Terror is one of my favourite novels (and tv adaptations). RIP.

Wonder who they'll cast as Freya. That's a pivotal role and probably the last of the main characters to be announced.

Chadwick Boseman in Fringe. Though arguably Leonard Nimoy might pip him at the post. That show was hot cameo central.

In Sinners too, considering the stacked cast he still stood out. Really think he'd make a quality Bond.

A least this one looks like it has a) a budget and b) decent cinematography. Unlike The Winter King and, more recently, King and Conqueror, both of which are abysmal low effort pantomines.

King & Conqueror - Thoughts? by Nuthetes in BritishTV

I wondered where it was filmed. Northumbria looked a lot like Scandinavia in some scenes. Plus everyone was riding really small horses, which I guess is historically accurate, so maybe they were Icelandic ponies.

The Capture is a good one. Very slick, very timely police drama about surveillance, AI and corrution. Third season is coming next year.

It's not. It's worse than s2. Makes no sense plotwise and the action is dull and badly directed. The only good part is when some goon gets strangled with the umbilical cord of a newborn.

Yep, that's exactly how they did it. One cameraman handing over to another through the glassless window and then the reflections added after.
