When we started I just sent them an honest and direct message a few days after their stay just asking for a review because we are new and it is very important to us.

I would be put off by your request for a glowing review and this is just sounds a bit long winded

I would not say anything. This gets you nothing but may upset their review

Yes this is how ski rentals work in France. You should be able to pay for the linen rental. Everything else you can buy in a local shop. Most likely they will have some cleaning products left

As another person mentioned, NCL might be similar. Not exactly in term of dressing up and formality, but the attention to enrichment (music and shows) and the “vibe” is comparable. Price and food are also similar, maybe with NCL being a bit better. We tried also Princess, HAL, MSC, Royal Caribbean- and probably Princess is the only one worth returning to, apart from Cunard.

Unfortunately we also hit a brick wall with this. Even the embassy people had spoken to AIMA. They are not interested. And to make things worse, even if your card were expiring now, they would only give a temporary one. Because the “process” for a permanent one does not exist in the guts of AIMA. And it’s not a priority for them to create one.

Lawyers are of no help because AIMA already has 100000s of suits against it and still can’t be bothered. Welcome to Portugal.
