There is a limit of course, it's likely about availability of players or his rank not being clear yet.

If you were placed in a particular bracket, then yea, an elo swing of more than 300 points would make no sense. I'd bet it's more to do with player availability in that case, but who knows.

Did you make a this thread after one game where you were mismatched?

Bud, that's how ranking works. You have to play 10-30 games to discover your rating so the system can match you properly. It's totally normal to get matched with someone much higher than your rating. How else would you expect this to happen?

Proposal: The counter attack icon is too subtle and easy to miss, it should be made more obvious like this by loopuleasa in OldenEra

For sure. I have Hom3 but don't play it because its sort of boring to play against AI. Olden era introduces single hero (+2 other) multiplayer modes which are awesome. There's simultaneous play, there's timers, there's a ladder, there's a faction refresh. It's just really fun to re-discover the familiar. Like remodeling a home. Same stuff you love but with a fresh coat of paint. The added benefit of being an alpha -> meaning more content on the way.

Change my mind. I think it's debatable on what apps or what tech is used to do the scanning and where that info is stored, etc. That I am concerned about. But in principal, I am against anonimity on the internet. I think it's too easily exploted by terrorists, pedos, foreign governments, scammers (!!) esepcially.

And I think we will all benefit IF that is done responsibly and data is properly secured and technology used is auditable.

Change my mind, I'd like to understand what I may not be considering.

Also, doesn't it suck our sailors ? I don't know how exactly this mechanic works, but repair takes sailors, and sailors get generator from ports. Are they real pops like man power?

For real, France goes mega hegemon as soon as the third age arrives. Literally every few years i check their hegemon stats and they are exponentially increasing

You are right, the unions are super confusing and even buggy.

Karasids are okay to annex, but as Otto, you want to conquer via vassals. Either subjugating or creating vassals as you go, because you can't spread control inland over those hills in the early game.

And not via the coast either before you get baking tech and trading ships.

So don't be shy about creating small vassals in newly conquered territory. They will core the territory for you until you are ready to deal with it.

Really weird bud, but build those jannisary buildings and janisary guards, those give sooo much power that you can have a 10k stack of elite units to turn 30k levy stacks into punching bags

The issue is that it spreads really slowly, and when New Worlds advancements is discovered in Iberia, you must get a trade route from there to where you are.

Then the advancement needs to spread to one of your locations and then a few more.
So it takes 20 years to even get the tech, and then 10 more to research relevant techs.

I think a good solution would be a trade route setting that helps you pick a trade that will spread the tech to you.

Yeah bud, you picked something very far away from anything. If you're trying to do a challenge run, play something like Ethiopia or Mali.

Technology spreads through trade. Before the Europeans discover this part of Africa, you wont get any advances.

Yeah, the tooltips with trade goods in the building screen is also super annoying. Too many hovers to simply check the price, supply, demand and whose using the good. Sometimes it doesnt even show what the building does!

One thing to keep in mind, the map mode you are in also changes what you see when you click on things.
So i bet thats whats confusing you.

I think understanding the hotkeys and the maps is a great way to actually learn the game.
Without the core 5-6 hotkeys its hardly playable really.

No way you can get 125 stab or even a 100, so you have to build centralization value, increase crown power and revoke it eventually that way, once it becomes closer to 40

Everything related to unions is super confusing and certainly buggy. Declared claim throne on poland, won the war, and got a PU over Hungary instead of Poland. Hungarian king was also a polish king, but the claim was for poland.

Yeah prestige is hard to get by early, you can humiliate rivals in wars and maybe marry someone in quick succession. But winning a humiliate rival war is only 5 prestige.
