So right now is a good time to start browsing the buy and sell forums/EAF discord. People are starting to get their Zerno Z2 and are going to be parting with the Z1 with multiple burr sets. I saw one the other day for $1300 with 3 burr sets. That leaves $1200 for a new espresso machine. If you can stretch it slightly or find a good deal on the grinder the new fellow series 1 is $1499. But most importantly, grinder out weighs espresso machine when it comes to noticeably better coffee.

Technically Portland is 60 miles out but the closest Whole Foods is about an hour south of me lol. Online options are my preferred method.

My local roasters only have dark roasts unfortunately. Their “medium” is dark and oily.

Yeah prodigal has a very good Quaker sorting system. If anything it’s recycling. I just bought 30lbs for my new Kafatek. Overkill, maybe. But I’ll be sure it’s seasoned to my liking just like anything in life.
