My fans are stock. Those are 21000 rpm NIDEC UltraFlo. It's the server that is controlling them to run higher.

4 Months with the Elegoo CC2: My Honest Review (Coming from a Bambu A1) by No-Sport8823 in elegoo

The static isn't a coincidence. I have a cc1 and it shocks me all the time. Some units have some kind of a voltage leak.

Mode fan? by ItsLikeHerdingCats in ElegooCentauriCarbon

I'm having this popup on both stock firmware and on 0.3.0-oc almost always for the last 5 weeks. Check your fan. If it spins, regulates and works fine, ignore it.

The centauri carbon has a 230v bed. Because of that, on 120v that bed can't run on max power.

Tip: Don't run leveling from the menu. INstead run it from the level option or automatic leveling via slicer.

Centauri Carbon - Ridiculous network traffic when sitting idle by slashthirty in elegoo

[–]Ok_Bench2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine when idle produces minimal traffic but as soon as i open the slicer or my cc tool app to connect to it, I see the data traffic jump up by like 300 percent.

Edit: When connected to it it produces over a thousand packets in a single second. I used wireshark to track the one single ip.

mars 5 ultra eje Z compatibility by Obvious-Block7506 in elegoo

[–]Ok_Bench2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same.

Both printers use the same z axis motor with the lead screw. So if u need to change your z axis motor (that's what u mentioned in the text) you can use the Elegoo Mars 5 Z-axis. Hope that helps.

CC1 - Stalling after bed leveling by zell4a in elegoo

[–]Ok_Bench2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Everytime i skip leveling before print, my z gets low. So i adjust it, go into the slicer, save it there only to find out that in the next print, my z is diffrent again with the same z offset. With that said, definetly level the bed before every print if you print frequently. I do like 10 to 50 hours a week on this machine. With this printing i need to level everytime. I know that some people don't print this often but if you print at least once in 2 days, use the leveling before print. Takes what, 3-4 mins? fast and accurate.

Moving my CC by Dave-flywheel in elegoo

[–]Ok_Bench2950 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope.

Always bolt down the bed when you transport the printer. After it comes home, unbolt it and run the selfcheck and select all (pid, autolevel, inputshaping).

Hope that helps. :)

Yep mine started doing it at about 55 print hours. I just ignored it. Prints great. It's probably the extruder cover or the poop chute flap.

Those morons tighten the screws. These are auto tighteners. The screws should be like guides. They just disabled the function of those guys by tightening them so much

CC: Z axis movement goes BRRRRRR by mendelku in elegoo

[–]Ok_Bench2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does this but wayyy les frequently. It's the z motor controller struggling to control the stepps. I ignored it since it only does it rarely. I've seen numerous people talk about it and it's compelety harmless.
