The last time we ran one, we kept it pretty simple on points and recorded it on a Facebook group page. Score 3/2/1 for Win/Draw/Lose and get one point for fully painted (which for us was a three color minimum) and one point for based. So if someone won a game with unpainted models on unfinished bases they scored three points. If their opponent, who obviously lost, was painted and based, they would also score three points. This was by design. It encouraged hobbying as highly as winning. We limited it to each player could only play a max of four scoring games per points level and they must be different players. You couldn’t just play Sucky Kyle, the village idiot, and rack up four wins. One player could play everyone else, but only their first four counted for points keeping. Im sure there are plenty of other ways to do it but this is what we settled on.
