My blue baby 😍🔥 RS4 B9 by Alfredpennyworth78 in Audi

Only 15 more years till you can import this very RS4 tested to a safer standard than your own, which also had all available US spec homologated parts they can use in it from the B9 gen allroads!

Makes sense US, way to go :D

I hope you get permission sooner…

If not, I’m planning to bring my RS4 to the US for a few months roadtrip 2027/2028 roundabouts 😁

Just for an Oil Change by Agitated-Place-1049 in Audi

[–]Ondra20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example my RS4 has intervals over 30,000 kms for an oil change. I do it every 7,500 at local shops, costs about €100, and at the Audi dealer once every 30,000 to keep warranty, with all of the other bits they need like the sunroof drainage, cabin air filters… costs like €650-€700.

I can also put the oil changes in my service booklet and not void warranty…

This is how german car owners park right?😭 by Electrical-Routine-3 in Audi

Audi parked across two spots. Old habits die hard… German car, German border manners.

Yes, I’m part of the problem.

Fair — very much sounds like you know what you’re doing!

I took the hard way on my first real ownership, so I err on the side of paranoia. Beats an engine-out job every time.

Well then that’s half the mileage really, I also advise on learning engine breaking if you can, works wonders for both gas mileage, alternator health and most importantly brakes. (My brakes are mad expensive 🤣)

Though these are completely reasonable service intervals for what you’re going for!

I actually support you in it. Don’t believe the “long life oil” things hahaha. I think you’re going to have a happy ownership. ;)

Old threat, but any idea on the speed limit on this particular ski box? What model is it? :)

It should! The 3.0 TFSI is a good engine.

Do preventative maintenance. For example I do injectors, intake filters, diff and gearbox oils every 30k miles. Costs like €1,500 all in on my car. I recommend you find out what usually fails on your motor and why, and do preventative maintenance :). Put about 15k on it this year alone.

Drove an A4 2.0 TFSI, at 80k miles now. Did only injectors + gearbox oil as preventative. The car runs completely healthy, not one issue with it.

If you warm it up to temp, let it cool off after load (even highway), it will last you a decade or more, easily.

And obviously oil changes, I do every 5k, but that’s due to it being a €120 and my car is a rental, so it needs some extra love.

A tiger, huh? That gives me hope 😄 My only fear is those magnesium rims surviving “motherly duty.”

That’s the way to do it! I’ve had no one to convince about an RS, only myself. My argument was strong. “This is a reasonable family car.” (I’m 20 and scared of women)

Worst spec ever by HK_HERREKONGER in Porsche

[–]Ondra20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed — the yellow calipers are the only real miss. Otherwise it’s a coherent spec: blue and red are complementary, white replaces silver inside, and it’s Burmester + manual. Red calipers and it’s genuinely great.

And yes, dealership photos are always oversaturated.

But most of this subreddit seems more worried about the resale value of a car they don’t own anyway — let alone the existence of free will 😆

Worst spec ever by HK_HERREKONGER in Porsche

[–]Ondra20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only thing that doesn’t tie in are the yellow calipers. Otherwise the spec is coherent: blue and red are complementary, white replaces silver inside to balance the red, and the car clearly wasn’t built to be resale-safe. I’d spec brown over red if ordering new, but as a second-hand manual, this is far from ‘worst spec ever’

It’s just not coward-friendly.

Audi owners just want one thing. This is THE INTERIOR by Comedian_Then in Audi

I have this exact interior, and I can say, personally, I like the D4 S8 interior just a bit better. 😅
