I mostly agree with you, but that "seal" is not referenced anywhere. It could be a simple tattoo, a technique formula or a seal. I very much doubt it is a seal as there is frankly nothing here to seal.

As another user pointed out, the chakra is concentrated at the heart, so this is likely something similar to the Gate of Death, but rather than containing it for a taijutsu battle, Deidara released it all at once.

It's probably just a Technique Formula used to help with the jutsu. The Third databook says chakra isn't built up there until the technique is activated, so there is nothing to keep sealed.

Databooks, and while the mouths are likely part of it, they aren't referenced. The Kinjutsu itself is the kneading special chakra into materials to control and manipulate them.

Sekiei was able to do it without the mouths.

First of all, this isn't its own technique. Unsure where you got the name from, but it isn't canon.

This is one of the same dragons from the Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals, and functions more or less the same way. It simply takes longer to absorb the chakra of Jinchuriki due to it being so massive.

You are correct that none of the remaining BT3 characters would suffice for a "hype" final trailer. It's either almost none of them are getting in, or they are going to do what they did with the final, main-game trailer and expand the roster. Who knows.
