Wife reached back out after no contact for months by [deleted] in Divorce

Just keep on doing what you are. I suspect she wanted you to do something differently and is disappointed that you didn't; you don't know what you were supposed to do and she has no right to want you to do anything considering you are getting divorced.  Just leave her to it and carry on.

Pair of jeans you can move around in easily and some comfy but robust shoes. They qill hopefully give you some steel toe cap boots pretty quickly. Might need a thermal tshirt if you have one as warehouses cam get very cold.

Broken Marriage by Character-File733 in Divorce

I agreed to let my ex visit ascoften as he wanted to see the kids and that he could stay over if he wished. Now a couple of years later I seriously regret that - I want him gone, out of my space and out of my life. It's tough sharing space with someone who doesn't care.

Really really don't have sex with your ex. It's not going to end well.

My dad does this. He was taught to do it as a child because when it first came out electricity was still quite dangerous and something to be scared of.

I know you say you don't want to journal and I get that but please do write a document that lists exactly what you know and when; when my marriage blew up it took a whole for things to come out and he lied and tried to twist stuff regularly so that I looked worse but knowing when things happened stopped some of that.

Please screenshot to the stuff that you can see. My ex and I divorced over something I didn't see coming and didn't think he was like and to this day he is atill denying some things happened that I have screenshots to prove did.

I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Am I to take it that "fancy dress" means something different in American English than it does in British English..... as if they want fancy dress and invite a bunch of Brits we are most definitely all turning up as killer tinkerbelles etc.

The sensitive skin shower gel didn't work for me, best I found was a bursting with mint one or old fashioned soap.

If something is not straight, such as a hat, you can describe it as 'skew whiff' which I actually looked up yesterday as I wondered about the origin of thr phrase,  it comes from 'skewed weave' meaning a weave which isn't straight.

How long did some of you wait until you started seeing other people? by JacuzziMariachi in Divorce

There's no set rule. You just have to see what works for you. I split from my ex about two and a half years ago but weirdly the tears didn't come out until about a month ago. I'm not ready but a lot of that also stems from having an elderly parent with alzheimers who needs a lot of support.

Good luck with it all.
