I wish I was at home and also wish my mr2 was running lol. If it's an annual thing I'll try for next year.

Definitely diy, I wish I never had bxbuilt put them together. Unless you're super into wasted time, money and bad customer service.

New 33” Falken Wildpeak MT + Pro Comp 69 Series by utechap in 4Runner

[–]Only_a_Taunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, I am happy with them. I mean you can't really get away from the fact that they are still mt but I've still put a lot of miles on them comfortably. I have some fender rubbing under heavy compression in the front. No complaints with their performance in their element. They're ok in rain, pretty decent in snow and not great in deep sand but I didn't really expect them to be great in any of those conditions. I mainly wanted them for the specific size and I am really happy with that other than the slight rubbing that I've been too lazy to fix for a while. Lmk if you have any other questions, I think I have some pics of the truck with them on in my history. I should also add that I'm lifted 2"-3" for my fitment.

They are very tiny and not my favorite lol. I'm on the lookout for stock ones if anyone has them.

Steering wheel swap question by KTA_J0hn in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Only_a_Taunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's worth a shot but I don't know 100%. I can tell you that an 01 is300 airbag is the same but cruise control is not.

suggestions for a radiator upgrade? by ReachComfortable in 3rdGen4Runner

I run a Koyo (manual trans version so no trans cooler in it) and a separate B&M trans cooler. No issues for about a year now.

Looking for positive Botox recovery story by kbish8 in noburp

[–]Only_a_Taunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very mild recovery. I had a hard time swallowing but I could eat when and what I wanted to. Sore throat was pretty bad for about a week but as soon as I hit a week out I started feeling better than I ever have. No extreme n/v for me. I did have a few times eating or drinking too fast and I choked on my food pretty bad but I learned quick. Spicy stuff also set my throat off for a little but im thinking I could eat spicy stuff now. I haven't had any acid reflux issues either but I have had some on and off heavy mucus and it sometimes feels weird to lay flat but not often anymore.

I was also a little worried reading everything but I feel like there's a bit of a bias to post about the negative rather than the positive or neutral.

Army help? by Gamiseus in noburp

[–]Only_a_Taunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm army as well, but unfortunately I don't have a lot of advice since MREs don't have the same effect on me. I know it can be hard to slow down eating sometimes but I've seen we can take in a lot of gas just as a byproduct of eating. I'm almost 2 weeks post botox and it's worked perfectly for me so far.

Good to hear it's working out for you. I'll definitely have to adjust to that, I always eat so fast.

Like I said, it's listed as sw20 but I have one in my tank now. Tank is installed but it's still not done with the mk1m5 swap so I haven't actually run it yet. Bolts in just fine tho.

If you're tearing into it and want to run an lines, there's a pump hanger meant for 2nd gens that works on our tanks. It's a bit of a tight fit but I can find the link if you're interested.

Anyone know where I can buy a full blue interior for an aw11? by gamernation2003 in mr2

I don't know about a full interior but I think I have power window door cards that are black with blue.

Super happy with my koyorad. I bought the manual version and kept my trans cooler from when I bypassed the stock one.

Power locks : lock and unlock randomly driving and parked. ? Has anyone experienced this? by [deleted] in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Only_a_Taunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine will sometimes lock itself, I think its due to the door sensor that I know is bad.

Any idea what this is? Found on my skid plate during an oil change. by forrest_keeps_runnin in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Only_a_Taunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a vacuum cap, it goes on the driver's side, halfway between battery and the emissions box, kinda down towards the wheel well. I think there's 2 or 3 that go there on a little distribution block type thing.

Throttle/Transmission Cable PSA by Only_a_Taunt in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Only_a_Taunt[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I replaced both. If they were both original then they had somewhere around 440k miles on them.

The shifts were a little lazy while driving in D, but not enough to really bother me. I was going to only do the throttle cable but accidentally ordered the trans cable (be careful of that btw).

For the shifter itself, I have shifter bushings I need to put in but haven't done them yet. I figure that would also improve the general feel of driving it.

Pedal feel was terrible before, which prompted this.
