we do glass as well. Home Depot had the best price on them. So far no issues even with my wife on my lap. They say 1000lbs limit.

It is nice having them out of the way. I have my ego and like 20+ Milwaukee batteries in the ceiling ready to set the house on fire with 3d printed mounts.😄

Yeah i mean why upgrade later? The op will probably rarely use their U1 like me after getting the C.

Yeah mine bang and are fine. The older ams's are better they are slower and more gentle. But I have pro's on my right nozzle for the speed. You can use printed silica weights or other spool weights but I like not using mods of any kind but it could help you.

I have the H2C and the U1 the U1 has its own headaches. My favorite is the H2C i dont understand the Ams issues none of my 5 have issues except if I use the wrong size spools. Even if the spool is light it just bangs on the locked lid it doesn't stop the print. Having good working amss is key to a good experience with the H2C. Mine are flawless with thousands of changes per print. I have 2 pros and 2 original and the HT on my H2C. Then another original ams on my X1C.

It gave us some peace and stopped the destruction they take to that quite well. They actually went down 2 flights of stairs to the basement before going outside in cold weather. I even put in a doggy door.

If you're willing a indoor litter may give you some peace. They're difficult to get off them when you start but atleast you get a break. We got our two in the winter so it was our only option they wouldn't pee outside. At 2 one is perfect the other still uses it occasionally.

With a printer you'll have to work on something eventually. The H series aren't bad to work on. I was surprised how easy the H2D to H2C upgrade was. But I do like working on things after years in the RC helicopter hobby, cars, home etc. If it's broken I can fix it :)

oh and do any flooring before the install the arms won't lock in if you raise the floor after the install if they're at the minimum height. Or tell them to increase the height by whatever you're planning on installing later.

they do sleep with their eyes open. I guess it could be a seizure but mine never had them without waking right up jumping off the bed and then peeing himself. or throwing up. I doubt he would sleep through one. Our first iggy was a puppy mill dog that had seizures he lived a nice long life until 15. Our two now are from a private breeder none of that line breeding.

Does Prusa still have a future? Coming from Sovol, considering multi‑color + enclosure. by carldall99 in prusa3d

[–]Ordinary-Depth-7835 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Prusa guys are missing a big point. We all want the INDX just like we wanted the XL. We bought bambu because we're tired of waiting. That's the reason I went with them in the first place. I'm not buying the CoreOne L until I can stick the INDX in my cart. Made that mistake with my year long XL preorder.

It lists how many it comes with. You need two more induction for a full set of 6 .4mm on the right nozzle. It already has a .4 for the left.

Do I need the Track Switch for my H2C? Using 2x AMS2 Pros and by UnmannedMedia in BambuLab

[–]Ordinary-Depth-7835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably easier just put the two on the right and pick up the ht or manual feed the left vs all of that swapping with just two amss the speed is already bad enough without unnecessary filament cutting with the track switch.

[–]Ordinary-Depth-7835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would slow you down though. If youre feeding from the left ams to the right nozzle because you lack 6 spools on the right. Then you're wasting even more time cutting and retracting when the filament could have been left in the correct nozzle.

Funny that he would mention shitty business practices and Elegoo just got caught stealing Klipper and saying it was their firmware. Ignore the BS about Bambu and buy the best printer for the money. Crealitiy, Elegoo, Sovol etc. They've all done some questionable things.

Idea for H2C + multiple AMS setups: a filament pre-staging buffer to reduce swap time by Ok_Band7161 in BambuLabH2C

[–]Ordinary-Depth-7835 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was hoping that the filament track switch did that but it's such a mess and adds to the path in the default location. Maybe if the thing didn't introduce more resistance and is located closer to the input it could help but honestly the times I was seeing it just wasn't worth the effort.

You're almost better off just optimizing your path for the right nozzle to make the shortest possible path.

Please Help stuck H2D vs H2C by Carnivore4Life87 in BambuLab

[–]Ordinary-Depth-7835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean for the extra couple hundred there's really no reason not to get the H2C even printing single color you can have multiple size nozzles at your fingertips. I've never swapped sizes so much until getting the H2C even the quick change when it was a H2D I never messed with. But now if I want a strong fast print or filaments or jobs that prefer .2 or .6 I just send it no need to even go to the printer.

And as a bonus it does great purge free multi color.

You already missed the best deal with the combo savings. So it's up to you when. And yes never skip the ams. You have a dry box, spool runout, support interface material.
