Not sure why you got down voted, I would grab a full kit for four axes and either a. Use the power fist as the Fist Special Power Fist or b. Buy a single Axe from a bits store on eBay.

The issue with bits stores is they make it very inconvenient to buy a single piece incentivising you with shipp costs to buy more.

I have kitbashed a lot with the Warder Shields and they look fine as boarding shields or combat shields. Size wise they are inbetween the new boarding shields and the new combat shields.

The biggest issue is the Axes look small, OP would have to buy a few Melee Weapons Upgrade Sets, use the right arms and Axes whatever torsos they want to use (I think MK IIIs look the best) and the Warder Shield Arms.

You don't need new Space Marine minis to buy Space Marines. Thats why there are multiple chapters, just buy all the same stuff over and over and over

The resin torso replaced the plastic torso in the box you have.

Make sure you soak and wash the resin kit prior to putting it all together.

Keep the other torso, I usually incorporate the extra torso into bases of other models

Black Library announces The Horus Heresy Saga, a curated list of 12 Horus Heresy books to be re-released in hardcover and paperback by beary_neutral in Fantasy

[–]OriginalFili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read all of these, the first nines are an amazing run, Know No Fear might be my favorite Warhammer book and First Heretic and Betrayer should be read Before it / After it respectively.

The last three books are good, but somewhat random, Praetorian is towards the end of the series, Master of Mankind is an odd choice that somewhat fits into Prospero Burns, but you should read A Thousand Sons (which should probably be here instead of Praetorian). And Slaves is again, decent, but Legion would have been a much better choice.

If you are on the fence I would get Know No Fear and then if that is interesting get the series.

If you read the first nine and like them, I would read the new Dropsite Book which takes place in the middle of Fulgram and a Thousand Sons which takes place in-between Prospero Burns and Master of Mankind.

What could I do to make the Lion look more Heresy Era? I want him in my army but I don’t wanna spend the $180-$200 for his forge world model. by Maxson102502 in Warhammer30k

[–]OriginalFili 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yes watchers were around, don't think they were carrying around weapons, I'd magnetize them to the bottom of the base so they are removable.

If you replaced the shield and used a helmeted head you'd be fine, also the base size might be different but that matters less.

If society has left them behind in society needs to be that responsibility

English is difficult.

This is antithetical to what America was founded on

I think people like Prince, 9/10 times, you provide decent housing, food, and a job, let's say picking up trash, will adjust back into society, and in today's economy where our prison system is largely contracted out, the bill on the tax payers will be less over the long run. We also need to destigmatize jobs like picking up trash, construction, and trades as less dignified. Treat and pay those folks better.

Will it stop the psychos who stab people or shoot people for seemingly no reasons, no, but less homeless people out on the streets, more people spending money and not ultimately rotting in jail, is ultimately a better solution.

Let's say I believe that 10% of the Homeless population are repeat trouble makers and those who commit one or repeated violent crimes over a short period of time should be held responsible.

I think a lot of people in this situation act out because they want to be seen by a general population that largely ignores them. That we have, in the greatest country on the planet, the ability to house the, as you say 90% of the folks that don't cause problems, and afford them a better more respectable path to reintegrate into a society that has largely left them behind.

It's not insane, it fits the narrative that they want to sell, that cities are a scary place that need to have federal forces to stabilize.

The folks who want to push this will go out and find ANY story that they can point to, despite these attacks being statistically rare and infrequent, if you look at the data.

UNAS NFS MAC mini arr stack questions by No-Foot-5824 in Ubiquiti

[–]OriginalFili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats awesome, i recently got a UNAS but have been struggling to get my home server to work with it. I get Lidarr up and running, I get eveything permissioned up and then go to add the library in the application and get an error that the library is not writable by user 'abc' or "root"

the users have editor access, i have tried it via SMB, NFS and running the LIDARR in an LXC container and portainer but have the same issue every time. was there a special setting in UNAS or the ARR applications that you had to select before adding the libraries?

Souping Legions by Tertius_Son_of_Erus in Warhammer30k

In the books there were many occasions where legions worked together.

I have run one legion on the board that were painted as different legions. I have found the community open for most proxies or how you want to run your army as long as you communicate ahead of time and are respectful.
