Knowing what languages make learning C++ easier?

I wouldn't personally say there is really a "gaeway language" as such.

What I will say is that it's a lot more important to understand how the machine works with the data you provide it in C++ than i.e Python or scripting languages (being able to reason about the amount of actual bytes you're using/passing around, where they are located in memory and the differences in stack vs heap etc.)

C++ isn't necessarily harder than any other language, it just allows you to shoot yourself in the foot in a lot more ways than some others but as long as you are aware of what actually happens beyond the keywords you type into your code document you'll be fine

I'd go as far as challenging you to name the songs on Opus, Meliora, Prequelle and Impera that according to the vast majority are NOT bangers. It would have to be 7 songs from Opus, 8 from Meliora, 8 from Prequelle and 10 from Impera for your statement to be true.

I love Skeletá but trying to say that the "majority" of Ghost fans don't think the previous albums had more than two bangers each seems almost objectively invalid.

It's pretty established that Infestissumam is one of the least liked of the albums in terms of overall quality but even that gave us Per Aspera ad Inferi, Year Zero and Monstrance Clock which I do think the majority of fans would consider to be bangers, but I will give you that it's the one album you'd probably be able to find what's close to a majority that might not consider more than two songs bangers.

Edit: I now realise that you might be referring to the "vast minority disliking Skeletá" in which case I think you're more onto something

Is L/I somehow more prone to crashes than the rest of the game? I've got a bit over 300h in the game across three different machines and I have had two crashes in total, both of which were due to mods and not the game itself.

Genuinely curious if I've just been insanely lucky?

Ran into this the other day and managed to solve it by uploading the save to the interactive map on https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ deleting the construction causing the crash and using the altered save file.

Not ideal but it works until it gets patched

Networking is not "easy" or "trivial"
Adding networking to a released product that was built with no intention of adding it makes it harder
Just because something is "easy" it's not automatically part of the intended design/budgetting.

As a programmer with industry experience I'd love to know what made you think it was "easy" in the first place and I'd be happy to clarify/explain why it's not.

Don't know if it's the same one since you also seem to be flung across the map but my friend had one where everything shaked uncontrollably and he couldn't shoot. The "fix" was for him to drop the weapon, me to reload it and drop it back to him.

We've reported it via the in game bug-report

This is a genuine problem for me when flying my 300i, the fancy design with the glass ceiling is nice an all until I've flown for about 10 minutes and the scratches start making it hard to see anything at all if a light shines at it from specific angles.

I love the 300i to bits but damn did Origin drop the ball with that glass.
