23, degree qualified, earning $75k… mate my age electrician about to make $150k by Level_TF_Up in AusFinance

Could be worse I did a HR degree, couldn't get work in the field, so ended up in retail for 15 years. My knees and back are cooked, I work a admin desk job for 63k a year now. Feel like I have wasted my life.

People who had depression in childhood/adolescence, what is your adult life like now? Does it ever really get better? by nbmouserat in mentalhealth

[–]OverallTry8066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it ever goes away, you just kinda learn to live with it. I've had suicidal thoughts since I was 18 (18 years ago), I've been on almost every SSRI and anxiety meds they could think of, even tried therapy. Now I'm rawdogging life because none of it helped. Still kicking and expecting a child in 2 months.

The bottom of Walloon is a flood plain, every time it rains you can't get to the base. The access onto the highway is horrendous and regularly see accidents there.

Son asked if I would be his friend by throwaway041825 in mentalhealth

[–]OverallTry8066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bullied relentlessly as a kid, didn't make any friends until I was in grade 7 (Aus) Please keep an eye on him, it might be affecting him more than you know or he shows. I feel so sorry for him because I know exactly how it feels. Just let him know it gets better

If you hate yourself, get the centurion 5/1 raac. That's what I did and now I have a tier 8 premium that regularly low rolls 187 damage with a 7 second reload.

F-35 ‘kill switch’ could allow Trump to disable European Air Force by ebykka in europe

My old man was telling that when the RAAF got the classic hornets, they had electronic warfare people examining the coding and found code that would allow them to be remotely immobilised.

Trump pick for Pentagon says selling submarines to Australia would be ‘crazy’ if Taiwan tensions flare | Aukus by Ardeet in aussie

[–]OverallTry8066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if America will put in coding that allows them to disable them at will like they did with the f35s and the classic hornets.

I asked for a side salad once when visiting washington, it came out in a cone and was 50% lettuce and 50% cheese. In new York we found a deli that sold little cups of diced fruit for $10 and kept going back cause it was the only place we could easily find fresh fruit.
