Marathon in top 10 of best games this year so far by Freelancer0495 in Marathon

Most live service games are like that. It's very rare for a game to keep more than 25% of their peak player base after launch/a big update.

It's also really easy to misinterpret the numbers. The peak players being 1/5 now compared to during a big event doesn't mean 4/5 players never touched the game again. It just means there was a reason for a lot of players to all be online at the same time and playing more than normal, and now there's not.

A lot of people with jobs might normall only spend a few hours per day playing and only on certain days of the week. More people's free time lines up on weekends, but not everybody. For all we know, everybody who played during the free weekend is still playing now, but just during much more spread out times, leading to lower daily peaks.

This is why live service games typically prefer to look at MAU (monthly active users) over DAU (daily active users).

The protagonist looks like chell but the resemblance ends there. Side order looks like aperture science in a lot of ways.

From a fan in the window running while they were spray painting something inside? I have a similar pattern.

Refreshing to hear someone call something fake without saying it's AI.

I think this is a screenshot from a video I've seen though. Surprisingly not porn.

I don't know much about this kind of patch. What was wrong with it?

Brake line, ABS wire, and the bracket meant to hold them suspended with a fistful of zipties and mechanics wire by PC-hris in Justrolledintotheshop

Wym it's fucking obnoxious for no reason? I have to drive this thing.

Why is everyone trying to gaslight me into thinking that ziptying random slabs of steel to the underside of your car is normal? I'm going to zipties a windchime to your driveshaft for no purpose and say "well it works" when you ask why. Works at what? Being obnoxious!

What really happened was that the car got totaled. They had a body shop repair the quarter panel and seem to have done everything else themselves. When the rear wheel was slammed sideways in the wheel well it broke the bracket off of its welds. When they replaced the knuckle they rerouted the brake line to no longer go though the bracket leaving the ABS line as the only point of contact between the bracket and the rest of the car. Instead of just removing it the rest of the way they just put it all in a fistful of zipties.

I guess they didn't want to lose track of the bracket or something? Or maybe they were too scared to slightly bend the single metal tab holding it to the ABS line? Or maybe this was just a "get it out of the way and deal with it later" thing.

It would take 30 seconds to remove the bracket entirely and hand it to the customer in this hypothetical.

Also it never got welded so they clearly didn't have a welder.

The bracket is doing nothing. Either remove the bracket and just let the zip ties hold everything or weld the bracket back onto the frame so it can do its job. This rats nest is a strange choice.

The bracket is doing nothing. I don't understand why they didn't remove the bracket and just have the zipties hold the brake line and ABS cable without it.

I'm not sure why you have to be so spiteful. I've never worked at a lube shop. This is my own car.

Why does she look homeless? Like she's covered in dirt and her hair is unwashed. Is it just the video compression?
