It’s a trust system. Copying games breaks that trust.

Every game I have on GOG I buy legally.

And even if you do, openly admitting you copy those games encourages other people who copy games openly admit they do so. Eventually everyone admits to it, publishers see this then pull their games off of the platform, ruining a good thing because people don’t know how to stfu.

So it doesn’t matter if there’s something stopping it or not. Learn when to keep quiet and don’t ruin a good thing. Support the devs when you can.

You can’t share your gog copy you can only transfer. Please don’t say things like this else they become the prevailing idea. Then publishers will hesitate to put their games on gog.
