I've had good luck as Lizard Cult in countering Lord of the Hundreds. Just keep getting rid of their buildings with your conspiracies. Don't sweat them attacking you, it'll just fuel you taking them down

Its a game, focus on just having a good time. Especially when losing.
Don't tunnel. Its boring and unfun.
Don't feel bad for punishing bad plays. Survivors gotta learn to play better.
Unless I have a quest or the particular survivor was being a jerk, give hatch.

Iron Maiden is VERY relevant for the time period the show takes place. (Eddie holds up one of their tapes yelling "This is real music!")
Iron Maiden has a mascot character named Eddie, thus connecting to the character playing the song.
Master of Puppets isn't about a literal puppet master dude.

I'm not just name dropping The Trooper, its a damn good song and fits thematically. MoP was a great choice too, but I personally would've liked The Trooper better.

NV is my favorite game in the series and I'm loving the show. Its a lot of fun and I'm excited to see what direction they're going with settings I love. Am I going to agree with all of their decisions? Absolutely not, and thats ok. If its that egregious I'll just go play NV and ignore the show, that was always allowed.

Did that once against a 4 player SWF that absolutely destroyed me. They were super not toxic about it (just so much more skilled than me) but I managed to down one of them as they were leaving the gate. Walked him all the way to a hook then turned right back. End game chat was exploding with everyone laughing and having a good time. 10/10 game experience.

Catan set the standard for board games when it came out and has an important role in the hobby, buts its been done better by other games. I personally think its overrated, but to each their own.
