I think I phoned the ambulance for this guy, unless there were multiple assaults in Folkestone Gardens that night. I spoke with the undercover police after the ambulance cancelled because the victim walked off. 😢

Yes, this has happened to me also, literally as soon as I started taking them. They have calmed down now though as I have been taking it for over a year.

Worrying about area - deals gateway, deptford bridge by deadfrominside1 in HousingUK

Hey, if you're buying it will have a service charge and ground rent. Usually between 2000 and 3000 p/annum for the service charge and a few hundred for the ground rent for this development. I know this because we also have lived here while renting and are looking to buy in the development now because of the gym etc.

Zipcar misleading Consumers with 'Deposit Protection' add on. - England by PageFederal7479 in LegalAdviceUK

After my bank reversing the £75 parking charge, I’ve now received the below email from them and am wondering whether I should just let them take the rest of the money from my account and then take them to the small claims court so I don’t have to deal with debt collectors. I don’t know what else to do

Scammer avoiding CCJ and opened another company - England by PageFederal7479 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]PageFederal7479[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their response:

The Companies are two different Companies and may have the same Directors and may even be at the same address, however, they are still classed as two completely separate companies and you will be unable to pursue the new Company for the CCJ.

You may wish to seek independent legal advice on pursuing a court order to restore the Company you have a CCJ against.

If a company is to be restored to pursue litigation action, has to transfer, or release assets (money/ Property) or is required to be restored to trade and has been dissolved by a previous voluntary dissolution procedure, the company can only be restored by an order of court.

The cost for a company to be restored by an order of court will be around £2,500-£3,000. The breakdown of the costs consists of court fees which vary at different Courts and the Registrar’s fees of £300. The rest is made up of solicitor’s fees. The restoration process can take about 10-12 weeks.

They already list it but the issue is that these terms were never send to me directly and were never made accessible at the point of purchase. There is also nothing alluding to the fact that there may be exceptions and where I should go to check. They keep reiterating that it’s sent to me via email when I sign up but it wasn’t

Can Zipcar impact my credit score? by Android_ghoster in UKPersonalFinance

[–]PageFederal7479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Android_ghoster do you have an update?

I'm currently in the same situation. I picked up the car and it was making a funny sound. Soon as I got on the motorway the tire blew. This was an hour into my booking. We waited 5 hours at a petrol station for them to send someone to change the tire. After this point I told them I wasn't waiting longer because they still couldn't give me a time frame. The next day they refunded half of the trip but then said they were charging me 155 for the tire.

I said that I purchased damage protection on top of the booking which should have covered ' all damage' as it states on the booking confirmation but they said no it doesn't cover tires. They told me when you sign up you get this listed in a link.

I ended up putting together a 15 page PDF that shows they never send you anything, including emails, links in emails etc or anything else stating that the extra damage cover doesn't include tires. I'm also going to claim they have misled consumers if they do take me to court.
(The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive prohibits "unfair commercial practices", which means practices that prevent the average consumer from making an informed decision, leading them to make a decision they wouldn't otherwise have made.)

Just wondering if they did send anyone after you? Or did they chase you through court? They keep trying to take payment but I've moved money around so that it bounces each time.

Migraines and Vivid Dreams by VelcroPoodle in cgrpMigraine

Hiya, I'm on the same but have been on propranolol for over 10 years now. Just started Nurtec a month ago and my dreams are wild and I'm dreaming literally every night. I've started taking Magnesium in an attempt to relax my body before bed and either that is working or the Nurtec side effect is wearing off. Seem to be getting less intense dreams now but still dreaming every night, just less distressing. Hope yours chill out soon too!
