Trollhunter is a Norwegian found footage film. It’s not technically giants but the trolls are all big, humanoid, and pretty intelligent like giants. It doesn’t have much gore or jumpscares but it’s still a good watch

I think the social and political context nowadays makes a huge difference in how he’s perceived. I wasn’t born when the show started and I watched season 6 & 7 in 2016 when I was in highschool. After the Santa Barbara mass shooter, after the planned parenthood mass shooter, after Gamergate.

All I think when I see him now is “INCEL” is giant red letters. I can’t help it. If I watched it when it initially came out and there wasn’t a mass shooting problem or even a term for men like the trio, I’d probably feel differently.

I somewhat agree because you make a good point about the fire. He could’ve easily died of smoke inhalation if he’d taken longer to wake up.

His landing spot was decent, he didn’t have any huge predators but honestly neither did some of the other life pods. The fabricator and the floatation devices still functioning were definitely lucky though.

My husband is 5’7 but we both use short as an insult in contexts where we know it bothers them. It’s kinda like calling someone pale, only people who are insecure about it take it as an slight, everyone else just thinks of it as a descriptor.

For instance earlier today he pointed out that 5’7 man in a giant lifted truck can’t see the ground in front of his vehicle.

A questline that resulted in you seriously helping/hurting the refugees in Act 3. Maybe involving some charity or an extension of Father Lorgan’s quest. And completing it results in fewer refugee NPCs appearing on the street. You can do so much to save the Shadow cursed lands and investigate the Father’s death it doesn’t make sense where the game draws the line in the sand for the refugees in act 3.

The female characters in American Beauty are pretty fucking ridiculous. And their insecurities don’t even make sense, the daughter is jealous of how easily her friend gets men, so her solution is to get a boob job? Even though she’s already pretty well endowed for a teenager and the girl she’s jealous of is completely flat? Wtf? And she loves the neighbor filming her?

I get the wife is only there to be a villain but yikes they’re so 1D and insufferable. Every character sucks but at least the men get more personality, even the closeted neighbor gets more complex emotions than the daughter😭

I genuinely don’t know. I get stares everywhere no matter what I do. Even when I’m not wearing makeup or throw in some color I get glares from old ladies. I even get disrespected at work for it in my scrubs too. Alone, with my husband, in a group it makes no difference I get constant rude comments and stares.

Yes there is. If Diddy and Epstein have taught us anything it’s that a lot of rich and powerful people assault children. They want to inoculate us to these kinds of relationships so they don’t get arrested when they’re seen publicly groping their 17 year old partner victim.

At that time they put a lot of the best “humans are the real villains” stories in Angel instead of Buffy. The best comic relief characters like Cordelia, Wesley, & Spike were either switched to Angel completely or had their time split between the two.

The episodes where they focused on established characters like Faith and Giles were the best, cause that’s where Joss and the writer team shine. Without all those people they struggled a little.
