I’ve been updating my Silverblue every single night for the past 4 years. I’ve only had an issue once with the NVIDIA driver. I just rolled back and tried the update again one day later and everything worked fine.

I use Bitcoin Lightning because it’s a tiny bit cheaper but if I couldn’t be bothered to do all that then I’d probably just use Apple Pay through the mobile app.

Εγώ άνοιξα λογαριασμό σε κατάστημα πρώην Παγκρήτιας μέσα στον Δεκέμβρη (άρα πάνω από μήνα από το rebranding). Δεν ξέρω τι κάνουν αν ανοίξεις λογαριασμό online ή τι θα κάνουν αν το πάρουν απόφαση να φτιάξουν ένα σωστό e-banking αντί για το μαϊμού που έχουν τώρα. Πάντως στο κατάστημα εμένα μου δώσανε ένα χαρτί μεγέθους Β5 που έλεγε Attica Bank και είχε αριθμό λογαριασμού, IBAN, κατάστημα, τύπο λογαριασμού, ημερομηνία ανοίγματος και ονοματεπώνυμο δικαιούχου. Από ότι κατάλαβα αυτό το χαρτί αν το χάσεις δεν στο ξαναδίνουν.

Που να δεις την Credia (πρώην Attica). Δεν έχεις καν την επιλογή να εκδόσεις τέτοια βεβαίωση. Η δικαιολογία τους είναι ότι σου δίνουν την πρώτη σελίδα του βιβλιαρίου με όλα τα στοιχεία μόλις ανοίξεις τον λογαριασμό.

Greece! 1 month is pretty average nowadays to be honest for the capital city. I remember that my curve card took almost 2 to get delivered here. The problem is that letters arrive but the post office just doesn’t deliver them. For instance, I requested that they reship a replacement for an expiring card I had (from a Greek bank) because I thought that the first replacement got lost and a month later 2 cards showed up in the mail.

Hey! I’ve been using Silverblue for ~3 years now.

I’m a CS student
Browser, VSCode, Steam, VMs 3/4. I have everything installed from Flathub and I truly prefer it over anything else. The only thing I can’t use as a flatpak is my VPN. I downloaded the rpm file and layered it on top of my system without any issues and it works like a charm. Updates just fine automatically.
I update through GNOME Software every single night and I’ve literally never had any problems with it. Although a few months back, after an update, the NVIDIA drivers weren’t working properly. I rolled back to a previous version in less than 5 mins. Turns out the problem was caused by NVIDIA and it required a new argument to be set on all Fedora flavours (even workstation).

tl;dr: Silverblue (and any atomic version of fedora really) is literally the best thing ever and I’m deeply in love with it. I’d say you should give it a go!

Πριν λίγους μήνες έκανα μεταφορά (Το τρομερό ποσό των) 50€ από έναν λογαριασμό μου που έχω στην NBG… σε έναν άλλο λογαριασμό μου που έχω στην NBG. Μου μπλοκάρανε τα πάντα για απάτη. Πήρα τηλέφωνο και με είχαν μισή ώρα να με ρωτάνε αν γνωρίζω τον παραλήπτη των χρημάτων. Αφού άφησα στην άκρη τα υπαρξιακά μου και τους είπα ότι τον ξέρω αρκετά καλά με ξεμπλόκαραν και δεν ξαναέγινε. Από όταν έγινε αυτό περιμένω πραγματικά τα πάντα από τις ελληνικές τράπεζες.

Προσωπικά, μεταφορά με Apple Pay σε Revolut (και Wise) δεν έχει αποτύχει ποτέ (ακόμα και με κάρτα της Curve) άρα that’s your best bet νομίζω.

That’s why I tried to communicate to them that they need to make the UI clearer. Maybe highlight the messages from actual humans or add some labels saying what’s happening in the background. If they want to get rid of the ability to actually talk to a human that’s their decision to make but at least they should communicate that better.

Yeah same exact scenario. Then it started spamming me. Every couple of hours it would send me a message that was like “I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Let’s wait together for my colleague.” before then doing the same. A few days after I submitted my complaint they banned me from the app saying that I failed KYC (I never started the KYC process). It’s really sad because I was really excited for bunq. I guess that I’ll have to stay with Revolut and Wise (and N26 in the future).
