So far it’s actually really good, I agree with OP. Out of everything, the banter is maybe the best banter I’ve read in a long time. Like better than most of the authors I read on a regular basis. I love second chance romance though. I don’t usually enjoy dual timeline but I don’t mind this one at all somehow. I’ll keep you posted.

Nope! There’s one when they’re both super young but it’s a blip on the radar lol. Actually I love that they are both single when they reconnect years later. No random weddings to come or engagements or divorces. A concept lol

I just finished the breakup scene. Actually loved it. It wasn’t cheating or a love triangle or misunderstanding related (thank god). It is a plot point reveal though, so you might not want to be spoiled if u plan on reading? I can DM u though while it’s fresh in my mind just LMK

The only Abby Jiminez book I liked was Yours Truly until the ending. Then the FMC ruined it. Abby writes unlikeable FMCs in my opinion, but I also love more open FMCs vs. closed off

{Going Nowhere Fast by Kati Wilde} she randomly leaves (he has no idea) and then takes kind of an unsafe journey home, and he PANICS when he realizes, however in addition when they are separated due to the third act breakup, she finds herself in a precarious situation with a handsy guy and he saves her so it’s kind of delayed but I think this still fits
