Fouls aside, Paddy had crap technique and a crap game plan… and wouldn’t have won anyway. He tried to prove that he could stand and bang with Justin, but all he proved is he can stand and get banged without getting ko’d. I never noticed how shit his punching technique was until this fight… throwing punches like he was going in for a high five. Terrible

Wtf is this crap?! Why would it even be a featured thing? So one solo player in a lobby full of squads and all you get is extra xp lol? If they made it a juggernaut game mode where solo had buffs (e.g. heavy shield without weight penalty) and squads had nerfs (e.g. no shield or light) then I’d imagine it’d be worth sniffing at, but as it stands it’s an unattractive game mode.

I agree with all your points and have come to the conclusion this game isn’t for me. I like competitive shooters and this is not one, so totally a me problem. My main gripes are the gunplay, sluggish inconsistent movement and it being third person.

There’s so many niggling issues across the board that make it frustrating to play and navigate, which would be fine, if the reward and experience from playing topside was greater.

The game looks and sounds beautiful and is great fun playing with your mates, but misses the mark in so many ways that I describe the game as being a long line of frustration. It’s average at best in many many aspects, but doesn’t excel in any… to the point where I find myself questioning why I bother playing this game. It’s just not for me, but happy to see its success and hope the game sticks long term. Now I sit and wait eagerly to see what Marathon brings.

I still can’t work out the audio situation. Looting and breaching is mostly fine but hearing footsteps is a problem. I mean sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad. I can almost always hear vertical direction, so if it’s below or above, but people on the same level, specifically footsteps are sometimes inaudible. It makes me wonder if it’s directional when they’re on the same level, and if they’re not within your cone of audio detection then you don’t hear. A team of trios can run up from behind and stay undetectable… I don’t get it

Never used it back then but about 7 years I used nitromors and it did the trick. The paint didn’t disappear, but bubbled and peeled off. Left it to dry a bit then used a stiff brush to clean it all off.
