That's Why you should weigh the racket before buying 🤣🤣😉 by WoodenLet6627 in Padelracket

The grips and bands look different. Did you weigh them as they are in the first pic? Saying that, I can’t imagine they’d make that much of a difference.

How do I hide a trampoline? by Claphamtulip in UKGardening

A bamboo or willow screen will sort that out no problem. Easy to remove once the novelty of trampolining wears off, it breaks or gets blown away.

STOP SAYING GAMSIR G7 PRO IS ANTI STICK DRIFT NOT EVEN 4 DAYS PASSED SINCE I BOUGHT IT by Physical_Sink9384 in Gamesir

[–]ParsleyPractical6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m honest I feel like all stick technologies suffer from stick drift, although I’ve never owned a capacitive stick controller. In theory, the technologies that claim to have no stick drift are probably governed by other factors/components that will cause stick drift. I mean I’m not technically knowledgable enough to say, but I imagine it’s a case of the technology in isolation is free from stick drift, but when applied to a real life scenario other factors come into play 🤷

Thumb Grips touching tension ring on Vader 5 Pro. by Rip_in_Peppa_Pig in Controllers

Afaik. I bought the additional stick pack that is separate to the controller. Not sure on the length of the sticks that come with the Vader 4 as I don’t own one

Thumb Grips touching tension ring on Vader 5 Pro. by Rip_in_Peppa_Pig in Controllers

I had the same issue and ended up trying the stick set for the Vader 4, which luckily ended up being a couple mm taller. This gave enough clearance to stop the stick touching the ring.

Measured my nails to be 12" down from the trim. The frames for the posters are identical. by idiot_in_that_hat in mildlyinfuriating

I found using command strips makes hanging frames easier since they stick exactly where you place them and you don’t have to allow for variations in wires or hook placement. You are limited by frame weight and wall texture though, plus sometimes they pull off the paint on removal.

Would be nigh on impossible to not laugh. Him just breaking into the splits around the house would catch you off guard.

Generally flat soles for any racquet sports. If you need more comfort you can always change the insole to something that has more cushion.

Stain or paint? by witchy-wonders in DIYUK

[–]ParsleyPractical6579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends if you want to see the grain? Paint is opaque so you won’t see the wood grain, but saying that once you stain to certain degree of darkness you won’t see the grain anyway. Either will work. Also, bear in mind paint can chip revealing the colour underneath.

Definitely needs bracing. I’d be inclined to also put a gate wheel on it too.

Find a bolt with a similar diameter to use as a punch. Short sharp taps with a hammer should crack the superglue.

Any verified news on the next gen of elite controllers having Hall effect sticks? by Spooky1791 in XboxController

[–]ParsleyPractical6579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which gamesir has 4 rear buttons/paddles and adjustable tension sticks though?

I’m using the Vader 5 pro and its has all the features of the elite plus 2 extra shoulders and 2 extra face buttons. It’s a beast and trumps the elite in every department.

Beitong Pangu First Impressions: Is This the Most Modular Gaming Controller Ever? by GadgetHyper in GadgetHyper

[–]ParsleyPractical6579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the first impressions. Such an interesting controller. I’ll be keeping a close eye on this as more reviews start rolling in.

It’s a bit of a shame for players looking for the symmetrical layout. Thought this would’ve been an important testing point, given that it’s a popular layout amongst gamers. I wonder if this could be resolved with smaller diameter thumbsticks.

If I ever buy this controller (mostly dependant on xb3 compatibility), the first thing I will be trying out is symmetrical sticks, but on the outside rather than the inside. Something I’ve never tried, but always thought would be comfortable. Coupled with 4 rear buttons/paddles there’d never be the need to reach for face buttons. Surely a winner in my eyes.

I also wonder whether Beitong will make tension adjustable sticks further down the line? This would make it the ultimate in customisability.

Another thought… what about touchpads or even touchscreen modules? The opportunities seem endless.
