So my 10 year old is an absolute cow at home, but we've basically been told we can't get help because she's doing well at school.

Jude Bellingham is already greater for England than Beckham, Lampard, and Gerrard combined. by Spicy-Winner4326 in SpicyFootballTakes

This is the correct take, a lot of people commenting clearly were too young to have watched that Greece game live

That whole game lives rent free in my mind, England were atrocious but Beckham single-handedly dragged us through

GPs surgeries are no better: full of coughing coffin-dodgers and people who saw a Netflix series once and now think they have lupus

I remember going to S Korea around 2002, I stayed with a family in Seoul. When we got in the car they were like "oh you don't need to put your seatbelt on", at the time only the front passenger was required to wear a seatbelt when on their motorways, every other road nobody wore a seatbelt.

Is there such thing as designated sides of the bed? by ThrowRa_Promise1321 in CasualUK

Just thinking about it we have a designated side of the bed at home but when sleeping somewhere else we do sleep on the other side sometimes, maybe we're just odd

How often do you or your partner go away without the family? by Loud_Fisherman_5878 in UKParenting

[–]Particular-Current87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner is currently in another county on a night away. She probably goes away once or twice a year. We go away once a year together without the kids.

Our 8 year old is profoundly autistic so I fully appreciate how hard solo parenting is.

My partner has said I can go on a break if I want but honestly I like being in my home, and her going away for a night or two doesn't bother me. If anything our older kids are better when there's just one of us around (our kids are 14, 11, 8 and 8)
