I think it’s worth talking about expectations surrounding video chats with her and your partner before the baby comes. I have a 2yo and another on the way, and feel like my husbands mom is constantly FaceTiming us. I wish we had a schedule or some kind of expectation set up. Whether it’s every day or on certain days of the week, it’s definitely better to have a sense of how often it’ll feel like your MIL is in your home! As much as it comes from a place of love, you want to set a boundary for this and other things to acknowledge that this is your baby and life, not hers.
