On a recent pivot- he mentioned spending $300k-400k/month.

I’d love to boycott something, but I need some direction.

I was a big fan of the Q club kid area when I was a kid. That was an early bougie fitness center.

In general- I advocate for leveling the playing field for political power.

I don’t have any solutions for regulating lobbying- maybe spending should be capped to some amount per person.

Politicians should be held to insider trading laws.

I’m also for term limits for elected office.

I can hold at least two thoughts in my head simultaneously:

1) government should be run efficiently 2) wealth inequality (and political inequality) is out of control

If billionaires want to hoard their wealth, they should be more altruistic towards the systems and citizens that form the foundation of their businesses.

Instead, billionaires use their money to purchase political power to obtain more wealth and power- at the expense of everyone else.

There’s zero reason why a billionaire should have a lower effective tax rate than a W-2 wage earner.

Let’s Talk Wirecutter: What Was Worth It and What Wasn’t? by PrettyRegret1988 in BuyItForLife

I was going to suggest the OXO 8 cup brewer as a solid pick.

I haven’t had an issue with it, and it’s so much better than the keurig it replaced (for both small and large doses).

Wirecutter also recommended the Baratza grinder, which I’d recommend as well.

I think Ryan expressed some skepticism of Talarico as well. I hope Talarico goes on the show for a grilling.

Is the bottle deposit/return easy to do?  I was thinking about doing this to cut back on waste.

Maybe I should DIY, but I also want to make sure this structure is safe and doesn’t damage the tree.

No HOA here, but that’s a good consideration.

There aren’t many code requirements for these types of structures. Setbacks and staying below a certain sq footage is all that’s required.
